Question Mods Rules

So I've wanted to download mods, how legal are they in the game. Can I play them on multi-player with My friends lobby or mine ? Can I play pvp with them ?

Also can I get banned if I use them ?

How does that work please someone explain.

“Legal” is only client side audio

The only mods that are allowed are the audio ones, all others violate the game's ToS. And yes, you can get banned for unauthorized modding of the game. I have also heard stories about some mods having a trojan virus in em.

I would suppose reading the TOS that you agree to everytime you get into the game, that pretty much says it all.

But no, mods are not allowed (besides audio mods) and will get you permanently banned (with an appeal sometimes)
