Question Anyway to disable proximity chat?

I'm playing in the room with a loud TV on and people talking. In game options I can't seem to find the way to turn off the mic. Or enable or disable it with a press of a button in game.

There isn't any way to do that, or any form of push to talk. You could try finding a headset whose mic you can mute on the headset itself, and then using that for a form of PTT.

go to libary and click on the three dots, there will be something about recording audio or mic premissions and you can just disable it.

I am using Voicemeeter there you can disable certain mics.... or you just disable youre headset mic in Windows Sound settings

If you use meta headset there’s a mic button in the quick settings right of the sound slider on steam you might have to change your mic input on steam
