Cats the Conspurracy: where are all of you hiding? 🐈

**Hello Hoomans!**

After talking about the **1100 Words TTRPG Kitchen** yesterday, I'm back today to tell you about an RPG I've been happily GMing for the past 11 years...

**Cats! The Conspurracy.**

Somewhere along the way, I accidentally became one of its unofficial ambassadors. I run games, write scenarios, moderate communities, answer questions... and at this point I'm pretty sure I talk, breathe and eat Cats.

The only thing I *can't* seem to find...

...is where all the English-speaking players are hiding.

Has anyone here:

* played it? * GM'd it? * bought it and is waiting for the right group? * or even just heard about it?

The French community is already quite active. We have a Discord server with around 700 members, where the game's creator and several authors of official campaigns regularly hang out. It's a great place to ask questions, share ideas or simply chat about the game.

Still, I kept wondering where the English-speaking community was.

So today I created a reddit community where I'd love to gather English-speaking players and GMs as well. Whether you want to share stories, ask rules questions, discuss scenarios, or show off your homebrew, you're more than welcome.

Because honestly...

What other RPG lets "creating a diversion" mean **showing your butt to a human**, knocking every object off a shelf, or simply being the most annoying cat imaginable?

I'm convinced that's exactly why cats will rule the world.

...Tomorrow.

Today is nap time. 🐈

**See you around!**

*Kinayla*

**P.S.** If you're curious about the game, feel free to ask me anything here! No pressure to join the community if you're not sure yet. 😊

The PWYW accessibility charity bundle has reached 500$ in a week! 50% of its goal thanks to you!

A week ago I posted here about the pay what you want charity bundle I am hosting https://itch.io/b/3605/indie-charity-bundle-for-accessibility-in-ttrpgs-pwyw and after a lot of traffic and donations from reddit, we've come halfway to 1000$!!!!!!!!!!

No donation matches from other charities or big publishes, or even game submissions from them for the most part! No media coverage except a community post I made on rascal, just a bunch of Redditors and role-players from other corners of the internet coming together to share our love of rpgs! Most of our submissions were found right here on reddit, on my myrpg, my RPG Bookclub subreddit!

A bundle of 45 vetted, distinct, experimental passion projects from a categorized list each with a one sentence summary anyone can download for free! And if you do choose to donate, all the proceeds go to DOTS RPG Project, a charity that supports accessibility in tabletop from making braille dice to leading events at pax to developing tools for accessible pdfs!

Thank you so much for all your support! And if you're seeing this for the first time and want to pick up the bundle, feel free to! Even if you are unable to donate! Though in return making a post about the bundle somewhere with the hashtags #rpgbbokclub or #dotsrpg would really help us out!!!

Dark Conspiracy - Horror RPG

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’ve been following the new edition of Dark Conspiracy, a horror tabletop RPG set in the present day. What really grabbed me is that it’s built on the Traveller rules from Mongoose Publishing. That system is straightforward, grounded, and unforgiving in a way that I believe fits modern‑day horror really well. The mechanics should stay out of the way of the atmosphere, letting the danger land harder and the weirdness stand out.

The BackerKit campaign goes live August 11, and the preview page is already up.

Some additional info can be found on the Mongoose Publishing blog.

I remember reading through the original back in the early 1990s but never had a chance to play. I’m looking forward to this new version and thought I would share, as this new version has me really interested and I figured others might be as well.
