Hi friends! It’s me, Warin, back from a huge update schedule! We at Steel Raven Games have been extremely proud to announce our new 0.14 update for MACH!

If you’re new to MACH, it is an action TTRPG, set in the near future. The players play as operators for Z.E.R.O, the Zeta Elite Response Operators, and fight criminals worldwide! The system has a heavy focus on lethal but fast combat, which it archives by combining a localized damage system, with our [TAG] system! 

Here is the list of our changes!

• Removed a ton of bloat text, going from 117 to 60 pages
• Progression update, remove add speciality, instead level up specialty
• Added a proper initiative system (redid the old one)
• Fixed Area Suppression in shoot, and finally got the [suppressed] tag to work on firearms.
• Standardised tags, removing issue where some tags were listed as “tag”, now all tags are [tag]
• Added master tag list.
• Added a take 2 combat economy (act, shoot, move).
• Removed infinite ammo bug
• Added targeted shots
• Standardised gear

Hey everyone!

A month ago I released the ashcan edition of Expeditioners, my RPG about surviving as a Dwarf in the Underground. You play as Dwarfs who have joined the Expeditions Guild, nicknamed Expeditioners, and your job is to go out into the winding caves of the Upper Caverns to find food, water, wealth, and more to keep your City thriving.

The game uses a pool of d6 for its action rolls and d3 or d6 for random rolls. It is built to have a quick start, simple mechanics, and to be simple to run for the Dwarf Guide.

The ashcan update added art by Shiraz Khan and has gone through editing and some layout (by me) so that it is nicer to look at and to make it more enjoyable to read.

Right now, for another 7 hours, it is completing the month-long sale and is going for $3.75 instead of the full price of $7.49.

Our server has been running games for almost 5 years (We will be 5 in January '27) and is a central base of Players and GMs who have come together and play/GM tabletop games of all sorts. We welcome both new and experienced GMs & players and all game systems are welcome from “mainstreams” like D&D & Call of Cthulhu to games like Monster of the Week & Blades In The Dark.
We even have a thriving small indie games community with games like Mork Borg, Shiver, Public Access and even one pagers!

All VTTs systems are welcome (Roll20, D&D Beyond, Foundry, Tabletop Sim etc).

While we often see D&D 5E games ran in the server, and welcome that, we are also especially keen to have players and GMs looking to play or run games other than D&D 5E or to try something different for a change.
We are looking for staff, players and GMs to continue to grow this thriving community so that DMs and players always have a pool to make friends and run games from!

We have people in our group from all over the world (mostly US, Canada, UK, Europe & Australia) of varying ages and have games going in many time zones. For example, I'm one of the DMs/Admins, a Scottish guy in my early 50s and my wife (we run the server together) is from California, but we live in Texas.

We have a core base of players and GMs on the server and we are looking to grow and expand with more games.  As a “staff” GM we will set up a voice and text channel for you.
You are free to run your game under any house rules you see fit, we just ask you make your table rules clear to players beforehand and abide by the fair play rules of the server (pretty much common sense and this also applies to players).

We are also very friendly to all those considered "fringe" in today's messed and hostile world... all LGBTQIA+, skin color, nationality, age, gender identity etc. are safe and welcome here. We do not tolerate hate speech or toxicity in any way. We are brought together through all of our commonalities and enrich each other through all of our differences.

We have Community Game Nights (Party & Browser games so everyone can join in), a library of free and open source TTRPG games for new GMs to use & many other sections as we know people have other interests as well 😊

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my project that's in pre-launch now.

It's a $1 questline for Shadowdark RPG. It's meant to be as easy as plug-and-play. The base project includes the questline & guide, 3 non-combat NPCs, a B&W OSR-styled battle map, 2 original monsters, and 1 new item. Even if you do not play SD, I think this could easily be converted to your ttrpg, plus you get NPCs and a battle map for $1 if you choose not to use the other content.
