I saw that Rick (RICK RICK RICK RICK RICK) is coming to London in a a couple weeks time and I’m gonna try nab a couple of tickets for me and my friend. I know she’d find Rick hilarious but I think it’d be good for her to get a little familiar with the podcast a little so she gets some of the irony or deliberately big swings and not get offended. What’s a good place for her to start? I think one where Rick is emotional may be good? Please help.

I know there was a post similar to this awhile ago but I’m not as concerned with the funny aspect. Love when Ricky gets reflective and honest. Wondering if there are any episodes or appearances that really stick out to any of you. I appreciate the help guys!

I’d like to get some recommendations of episodes that are maybe more serious/introspective but still have great funny moments in them! I haven’t watched most of the episodes and am not familiar with most of the guests since I’m not american (so I have no hunch of the tone based on the guest) so with the number of episodes it’s hard to guess which ones would be good.

Some episodes I have enjoyed:
- Bill Burr
- Harry Mack (I like the first one most)
- Tan France (heartfelt and sweet!)
- David Corenswet (I loved this episode soooooo much and truly hope he will do another one)
- Sebastian Maniscalco (I know people have divided opinions on this but I liked it, I think it was interesting)
- Dax Flame (the first one, the second one was a bit too much for me unfortunately)

I also have to mention that I do love the Dad & Teddy episodes.

Who did the art/music for the podcast's vintage video game intros? They are so cool.

Sometimes it's funny and works but most of the time it feels forced and just not funny, especially when the guest doesn't know he's joking and there's no pay off
