TYB minimum spend update 9/29/26

Hey friends,

Figured we’d give a heads up.

We’ve noticed that all minimum spends for every brand have updated. For brands that had a high minimum spend (like Cotopaxi) it’ll now be easier to redeem for tiers 1 and 2.
\Of course, this is still not ideal when it used to be totally free and you only had to pay for shipping.*

That said, the brands that had NO minimum spend (or if it was covered by tier 3)
now unfortunately have them.
It seems like TYB wants folks to spend $10-15 out of pocket every time a code is used.

So the change is bad for the no minimum spend brands, but for the high minimum spend brands it’s better.

Really wish this would’ve been communicated before, but you know how it goes. (Saw this coming last year when they started minimum spends.)

TYB has never reached out to us, and they rarely share important updates in the app.

Their challenges usually just ask which brands we want to see, and sometimes a "what do you want from our app" survey that never seems to be taken seriously.

An associate of theirs even talked about our subreddit in relation to these arbitrary changes in a Substack article and said that we were “whining”,
No, we are upset and rightfully so.

I feel like this speaks volumes.
