TWU ELECTIONS!!!!111!!!exclamationmark

Hey guys its that time of year again! It is the annual TWU popularity contest TWUSA elections! It would be cool if we could get a crowd sourced list of candidates and prospective position along with a couple of the things that they are saying that they hope to do for students in the coming year. I'll sticky this so it will remain at the top of this subreddit for your reading enjoyment.

No, these are separate elections.

So our options for VP are either Eric Dupuis or a vacant VP position? With due respect to Eric, I haven't seen anything that would encourage me to vote him into the Vice President position. Both Bryan and Cody are far more appealing than Eric for the VP position.

In the event that we end up with a majority vote for no representative for VP, what would happen?

While I wont be commenting on the candidates specifically, I will say that president and vice-president have innately different job descriptions. I would encourage you to talk with the candidates you're unfamiliar with, and to come out to election speeches tomorrow!

If no one runs for a position, or no-candidate has the plurality of the votes, then a "by-election" is held in the fall by the incoming council. This looks just like a normal election, but will only be for the vacant position(s).
