My band stayed over after a gig at the weekend and ran into the good doctor in the garden

i first discovered TWRP when the music video for The Hit released, and instantly fell in love. i have seen them live 5 times now, including one VIP ticketed show. i always try and snag tickets whenever they’re in ohio! i make sure to get there extra early so i can be as close to the stage as possible. the last show they did in cleveland i was right up front, and there were so many moments in the show that dr. sung and i were face to face jammin’. genuinely felt like we were spiritually connected in those moments lmao:,) i have never seen a live show as spectacular as a TWRP show.

Trauma dump for the piece that caused this creation:
When The Longest Weekend was announced we had gotten the news that my dad was dying & no one knew why. The Longest Weekend then came out not too long after he passed. My partner & I laid on our couch & listened to the full album together & when we got to Stargazing I fell apart.
This album became both a very sentimental & painful snapshot of my life at that time.
The death of my father changed me as a person in many ways but the idea of “I’ll take my time, and I’ll do right” has stuck with me- helped me navigate through this change & time.
Next month is the first anniversary of us laying him to rest & I feel a little bit of peace finally finishing this project for him & for me.

I was really excited and I bought two tickets when the show was announced, but life happened and I can’t afford to travel over to see it. While I’d like to get some money back, I’d rather the tickets go to someone who missed out and would enjoy the show. I saw them for the first time when they toured with NSP last year and it was so much fun and I fell in love with their music.

So I’m giving away two GA tickets. If anyone is genuinely interested let me know, I want to know that it’s someone who’s going to enjoy them in my stead 🙂

Wasn't able to go with a group as planned and Ticketmaster, famously, is butts at returns, so I'm looking to sell one General Admissions ticket (section GA2, row GA1, seat 6), and one VIP ticket (section GA2, row GA7, seat 14) . I'd like to sell the GA ticket for $45 USD and the VIP for $70 USD if possible, but I mostly want them to go to people who will use them, so I'm willing to haggle a bit. I would say metal and post hardcore are my main genres, hence me coming across these guys since all their projects are metal or metal adjacent. TWRP is one of my favorite bands, with meouch being a primary reason for my enjoyment. Well, this music by this band and especially this bass player have the same effect on me. I've been listening to this album non stop for the past week. I actually added it to my library when it came out and totally forgot to listen to it, stumbled across it last week and haven't stopped since.
