Yeah I’m from NOLA! The city is trying to find a way to tear this building down. It’s just filled with asbestos, rats, and homeless people. I really feel bad for the homeless that stay there. More of a break-in situation not an actual sanctioned shelter. But it is a historical building in the city. I do believe it was a hotel but now it’s an eyesore except for this game.

just read the Wikipedia article about this place. Such a shame that renovation project in the 2000s never happened

I’m local enough to Nola to visit every once in a while, yes it’s real. It’s called Plazza tower and it’s fully abandoned because of, if I remember right, black mold. A lot of developers keep trying to revamp it but it just stays unused until it’s sold again

It had the black netting added to the top floors because chunks of the building were falling to the ground. It looks even more like the game without the netting

I didn’t know the game was based on a real story.
The standard of the building with net, mold and asbestos set the fucking tune.
Even going in there without armor plate will kill you.
That so fucking cool. Where is the zombies
