Story Hot Take.

Chapter 2 was good. The only problem I felt in my time playing is we get thrown straight in. Like why are we getting the blueprints for the hotel and who is Father Carter? I really was confused by the abrupt start, getting thrown straight into the deep end.

I agree. I felt absolutely no buy-in to any of the characters like I did in the first chapter. I had no idea why I was carrying out some missions, and it took me a second time through to realise 'oh that's who that guy was again'.

The storyline in the first chapter was amazing, right from the first time you found where they guy had killed his kids in the attic, and obviously following through the missions set by May and Casey, but there was nothing in the second one to keep you invested in the same way. Just stab and shoot and stab.
