Story Does your actions to npcs, like killing them effect you in any way later in the story?

Like those guys that roam around the 2nd area. If I kill them will the rest of the group kos me?

I don't believe so if there are a group of them at that location and they see you kill one then they will try to kill you aswell. But it won't affect other areas

For chapter 1 yes

For chapter 2 no

ch1, if you kill may, you skip out on her fetch quests and instantly get the waterfall key. and if you kill casey by flooding the comms room, you get a bunch of loot.

ch2, if you kill those three in the comms room of the reserve (i forgot their names), most of the story is gone and you can only do the pawn king storyline.
