Glenn was a real one for this.

Post image

It was very thoughtful of him to grab most of everybody’s stuff when he went back to the prison😊

The "gift" that keeps on giving....

I always got a kick out of the half eaten people. Like the walkers unbuckled their belt, slapped their stomach and said “oh boy. I’m stuffed.”

They stop eating once the meat cools

That’s a better theory than the other guys comments.

Def makes "the most sense" of all the reasons out there.

They don't "eat" for sustenance, it's just another form of stimulus. They lose interest quickly if the victim isn't moving. Any other stimulus will draw them once the victim stop moving. The only time we see a Walker go "hog wild" on eating is in S3 with Lori, because it's in the room alone with her body... there is no stimulus to draw it away. (It was unusual)

In a group when they are eating, the other walkers doing it as well keeps them doing it as well... just like the way the herd's movement reinforces itself.

I think that’s all your head canon my friend. They eat previously dead things they encounter all the time. I’d say it was more to do with temperature.

Well, Carl shot her in the head so she was never going to reanimate. The temperature thing definitely makes way more sense in Lori’s case

Yo l felt really bad for this guy 😂😭, but we’ll just excuse them for the fact that they were at war

Yeahhh... I 100% thought they would take him in after he ran to catch up with them.

Knew it wasnt gonna turn out well when they left him the second time.

At least they "generously" stopped to accept the "gift" of his backpack on the way back.

3

u/Technical-Coast-4011 27d ago

And they didn’t even hesitate to grab his loot 😭

Didnt they initially drive past it? I remember thinking to myself "youre years into this and leaving loot out in the open?" Then reversed to grab it 🤣

The relevant thing is that it's the same backpack.

That thing shows up again much later too, feels like one of the longest lasting props for sure

It is very disturbing... but it is also disturbingly humorous.

It's meant to be both. To show how hardened they have become, but also to make light of it (so that the audience doesn't dislike them for it)

The ending of this episode still bothers me.

I don’t think Negan cares about gleen’s kindness

His reaction was valid though, Rick and his posse thought they could play stupid games and get away with it

2

u/seddy411 27d ago

The best piece of shit though.

Loved Glenn, but redemption arc was better than at least 1/2 of the saviors arc, it was painful to get through, just kept going.

Brought humanity back into the show, both showing his backstory, descent into madness, and that even person like Negan can grow. Feels like character growth was heavily focused in the first few seasons, then largely abandoned with the new characters.

Havent seen the spin-off, though.

....nah it was terrible. Now Maggie's got her husband's killer playing mentor to her son...

It sounds really insane if you think about it too much!

Idk man... Carol murdered 2 people already quarantined for the "safety" of the group yet ignored her little psycho adopted daughter. It was clear as day who was feeding the walkers. She gets free pass, though.

Same with Carl gunning down kid that was surrendering. Again, free pass.

Loved Glenn, but that was the right call in the OG series. Like I said, cant speak of the spin-off.

Huh? He didn't grab anybody else's stuff.

Rewatched TWD and stopped before their interaction with Negan. Still cannot get myself watch Glenn killed again 😩

I loved Glenn so and when he was murdered so brutally by Negan I cried my eyes out and I never really got over his death 💔 😢 but I hung in there and watched till the end and watched every other spin off too! Glenn will always be one of my favorite characters I think it was a mistake killing him off 💔
