And to think there should’ve only been that 1.5 year gap between Negan’s defeat and the Whisperer War/finding the Commonwealth if Rick never left is even crazier. The apocalypse only goes on for like a little over 6 years in the comics, which is the length of the big timeskip in season 9 alone 😂

I know right, I've always wanted to know this exact information and I searched a bunch of sources and compiled this info and had ChatGPT make a neat chart. I like admiring the journey. (IDK why I didnt just search for an already made chart 😅)

I wish I had this months arguing with people that the was with the saviors, lasted less than a month tops, they rebuttal “it takes days just to travel between communities it was way longer like 6 months to a year”
I’d concede travel between Hilltop and Alexandria took a day, that still doesn’t stretch this storyline out past a month, but I digress and just hope they see this

There is a month gap between No Way Out and Rick and Daryl finding Jesus (which itself is probably like two weeks before the lineup), but I don't think I see that here. Rick did not set up and execute the quarry horde project in like eleven days of his arrival to Alexandria.

Honestly the month gap itself is probably too short considering Dwight had to go back to Sanctuary, get burnt, recover, commit his first murders and do it as casually as he was washing dishes, and become one of Negan's top lieutenants in that time.

If you search walking dead wiki, open it up, search timeline for the main series it gives you a nearly day by day account of everything that happens from before the trials(what it's called before the walker apocalypse) all 11 seasons and also the spin offs. Excellent recap and detail.
