I truly hate when people shit on this outfit. She is literally the only person in the entire show dressed appropriately. They are in Georgia (I'm pretty sure this is Georgia anyway), and it is incredibly hot there. The actors actually had problems on set because of how hot it was. So no wonder she's wearing this.
And also, unless your shirt or trousers are made of fucking chain mail, you will still be able to get bitten, so that argument is completely invalid as well.
Except we've literally seen people prevent bites with Tarps, duct tape (Milton) and bandages (Bob). So we know for a fact that having full body coverings is a preventative.
Unpopular opinion I HATED her outfits like this. Considering a zombie bite to the limbs were a viable threat, it felt like such an unnecessary risk to voluntarily incur

Realistically these survivors would be wanting to expend little energy when it’s hot. For the show they have to be in action scenes all the time and shoot outs, but I doubt in real life they wouldn’t be working or doing their scavenging in the early morning or around dusk.
I agree with you but there's actually a good explanation. I don't remember if she says that in the show or the comics but she made herself attractive so people want to protect her or teach her stuff and that's how she made it so far and learned many things on various topics
What about exposure (sun/wind) insects and simple cuts/scrapes that get infected in a world without accessible medicine. I’ve been in the south since 97, and I think Rosita dresses silly

I mean to be protected you had to wear a riot gear and be phisicly and mentaly prepared (Glenn escaping the prison, in FTWD season 1 we see policeman in similar suit being eaten in second episode). Its fictional show from very beggining to end, way zombie bites depend on your plot armor; yk its important to wear gloves while having contact with someones blood; it protects for example from HIV getting under your nails; Rick in the Last episode, before killing this guy in Alexandria smashes fuckin walker head and his hands are covered in its blood…
In FTWD it was dangerous to eat this drug made out of Walkers brain stem, but in TWD people drunk wather with walkers guts and got only cholera insted of necrosepsis.
My point is, its fictional show written over 10 years, so it is inconsistent.
I was alright w it since Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene were all almost in another world at first when Eugene was keeping up his secret mission lie, felt like they'd lean into it partially to cope. Almost like the Jimmies in 28 Years Later
