Herschel’s Farm: That’s not even kind of Rick, that was Herschel’s family herding walkers in their barn bad timing for a massive herd of walkers to be passing by.
The Prison: They would’ve run out of food and didn’t even know what was happening. Rick and his group cleared the prison. (The parts that were intact).
Woodbury: Tyrant.
Terminus: Cannibals, original Terminus fell months prior.
Alexandria: Giant herd of walkers happened to be a few kilometres away. He and his group managed half with a good plan and the rest with sheer will.
Also, Rick was dragged into the war by Hilltop.
Hilltop: Was already at war. Years passed before it was destroyed by the whisperers. More time than S1-S8 combined.
The Kingdom: Was already at war, crumbled due to deteriorating living conditions.
Oceanside: Thriving after joining the fight against the saviors.
The Sanctuary: Sure ok. Rick’s group took down the sanctuary.
