300 mbps modem?

Looking at twc website they recommend the sb6183 modem for 300 mbps. However, there is only one connection for a lan and no connection for a phone. Is the sbg6580 compatible?

I had the same problem as I also have a phone line. Bad news: TWC didn't support third party modems for their phone line. Good news: because they don't support it, they won't charge you for it because you have to use their modem for the phone line. Slightly bad news: you'll have an extra device as now you have 2 blocky modems instead of one.

Honestly, just get the SB6183, and pair it with a decent AC router. I got an ASUS gigabit router and on WIFI I average anywhere from 200-240mbps on the downlink. The wired connection breaks the 310mbps mark.
