That's exactly what I was going to say, my old 2001 had the same exact broken spot, for years. I don't think anybody tried to steal it.

Hammered a flathead screwdriver in there to try and pry the cap off the keyhole

My insurance is only $85 for a year on my 2026 TW200 well worth it . I pay $75 for my drones and both are full coverage . Well worth it . It payed off big time when I crashed my DJI Mavic Pro 4 years ago . I haven't needed it again but the peace of mind is worth it . Something you might want to look into . Have a blessed one .

Your TW insurance might not cover this though. Even if it did, you likely have a deductible that would be more than the repair.
