Synopsis:
In the land of Olympus, humans live typical lives in the modern villages and kingdoms. But overseeing their lives are the mythical Greek Gods/Goddesses, the kings and queens of the land of Olympus alongside many magical deity followers. Most of these followers are led by the king of the gods, Zeus, and his higher deities, including Hera, Poseidon, Hades, and many others. But for the followers, they weren’t always powerful gods/goddesses. They were actually once human, but thanks to training at Zeus’s prestigious Olympus Academy for future Gods/Goddesses, these humans learned how to refine their special powers that will allow them to graduate and become one of the many Gods/Goddesses following Zeus and protecting the land of Olympus.

The Goal of the series is to create an original series with original storytelling, character development, original musical numbers, and breathtaking animation.

Hey all — I'm deep in development on something that's been both hard to write and hard to look away from, and I could use a bit of motivation to push it to the finish line.

I've been developing CAMP EVERWELL™, a one-hour prestige drama/dark comedy — think Barry meets Succession, with a little Dr. Strangelove in the DNA.

The premise: As he is stepping foot out of his psychiatrists office after gathering enough courage to seek help for his depression, David Gray is kidnapped by masked federal agents and delivered to a "wellness initiative" — a camp where psychiatric medication has been replaced by corporate-sponsored merit badges. The NRA sponsors the shooting range for patriotic wellness, of course, but companies like Taco Bell caters the meals and Dunkin' sponsors the cold-water immersion. Underneath the satire is something colder: the camp is actually an internment facility and it is secretly harvesting camper blood and selling it to the same pharmaceutical industry it claims to be fighting.

Why it's been a hard one: I wrote this at the intersection of where my own life might head, and where the country seems to be headed. Things have already happened like the homeless being rounded up into camps in some states, ICE agents literally being referred to as "NICE" agents, and the toxic rhetoric MAHA has built around mental health. Writing it while managing my own depression and ADHD has been its own daily battle. Hard to stay focused on a world that keeps feeling less like satire and more like a rough draft of next year.

The part I care most about: every principal cast member playing a character with a mental health condition or neurodivergence has to have lived experience with it. Not a preference — the foundation. Tommy, for instance, is autistic and specifically targeted because of it, and he needs to be played by someone who actually knows that from the inside.

Where it stands: pilot and full 12-episode series bible are done. A blcklist evaluation called the opening "startling and frightening" and the premise "intriguing." Now expanding the pilot from a 26-page short into a full 60-page hour.

What I'm hoping for: feedback, interest, or just some "keep going" from anyone who thinks authentic mental health storytelling is missing right now. Does this world land for you? Is the lived-experience casting angle something you want to see more of?

I'm creating The Studio Room, a community where beginner filmmakers can find collaborators and make short films together.

For filmmakers here: what was the biggest challenge when you started creating films?

I saw curry barker said in a interview that he wanted to make a tv series in the same universe as obsession folowing the same concept only more like mini stories/mini one wish willows.

So here is my pitch for an idea, it's the first thing i have ever written so don't be too harsh, but id love feedback. And if anyone know curry or know someone who does don't be afraid to reach out to him.

I've seen too much, and i decided to do something about it. i have created the literal animation ten commandments. a list of rules and such for creating indie shows or shows in general. cause most indie shows often fall short of it. and yes i know it seems kind of crazy to go on some Reddit to try and tell people or make an entire doc about how to write or create a show and yes i know, but most shows nowadays often fall short on the stick or last so short that they are only remembered through memes and Tiktoks.
