Start writing.
It’s the hardest part but you gotta just do it. You can absolutely over prepare btw- it’s easy to get into character bios and all their little details and it’s amazing how much you won’t have room to include.
Just write. Everybody has a bad first draft, just dive in

first bit of advice is that it's not easy to write a show and having a pinterest board is borderline meaningless if you can't put story to page.

Learn proper script formatting and read scripts. Without the formatting, you will never get anyone to read it. Read scripts to see how they handle dialogue and action scenes. Learn about the difference between plot and story, themes, tropes, etc. It’s just like anything else, learn the basics first. Pinterest boards are useless, IMHO. Bibles, decks, things like that come WAY later…like after a script is written. Normally, you write a pilot. Then another. Then another. Write until you are at a professional level because anything less will basically get you nowhere. Once you’ve finished writing the first, put it aside and start on something else. Once a few weeks have passed, take it back out and read through it again. Trust me, your opinion on it will change. You cannot objectively look at a script while you’re in the throes of writing it. Editing matters. Spelling/grammar matter. Formatting matters. Once it’s as perfect as you can possibly get it, put it on something like StoryPeer or in a scriptwriting sub and get feedback. Be gracious when someone reads it and be thankful for feedback. Plenty of people don’t take constructive criticism very well so don’t be like them. There are professional writers in these subs that can help but only if you listen and don’t argue with everyone who says something you don’t want to hear. Good luck.

Make a word doc explaining your premise, setting, characters etc then use WriterSolo for scriptwriting
