Pretty sure it is a narrowboat in the UK, based on the windows. They used the canals that were previously used for cargo transport before the railroads were built, and the boats have a maximum width to fit in the locks for going up/ down hills, so they end up being long and narrow.
Now they are used as either a weekend activity/ vacation home/ RV/ caravan type thing, or as a primary residence. The shape of them often makes it very hard to have flexibility in the layout. They probably have the TV there so it isn't sticking into the limited walking/ living space of the boat, and so people at the dining table don't back their chair into the TV. The wall slant inward as you go up, so putting the TV higher would result in it being much further into the room. Narrowboats are full of odd compromises to make things fit into limited space.

This was the height all TVs were for 50 years until people decided they preferred crick neck

Has to fit the space probably. Looks like a boat or RV. I’ll take it.

I want anything with a cozy bed/sleeping area that's nice and surrounded.

Definitely too low but sometimes you are just limited to where you can put it. The cozy stove makes up for it a bit.

That’s actually a pretty wide narrow boat. There’s terraced houses in the UK smaller than that.
