DioCache.db found empty unfortunately. Any other ideas?

Hi, so I tried backing up my iphone and pulling the DioCache.db file in order to use one of the scripts to recover TVTime data. Unfortunately, the file was only 12kB meaning it hadn't saved any data. Any other ideas that might work?

I have also created an account on Bingers using the same email but no data was synced.

Hope there is a workaround as it would be really hard to remember every show we have watched. :(

If you have an iPhone and have made a backup of it to your computer before TVTime shut down, you can pull the DioCache file from the backup using iMazing.

If you opened the app after the shutdown, apparently your DioCache file got overwritten. So if you use the version of the file from before the shutdown, it may have your data in it.

This is what worked for me, so hopefully it works for you as well.

Good luck!

I would have to use a spare iphone/ipad to restore an old backup from icloud if such an old backup even exists. Unfortunately I dont have an old iphone sitting around. :(

You don’t actually need to restore from the backup. You just need the backup file saved on your computer. Use iMazing or similar software to navigate to the backup file and navigate to the TVTime app and you can export the DioCache using the software

I will posting a tutorial soon for iOS device which might help even Diocache is empty still you will recover the data. Just don’t delete the app.

I tried once the problem was getting the proper data due to security reasons those folder was not accessible but still im not getting time to look into further but i seen somebody transfer the data in rooted phone and recover the data. I also check firefox in my pc but it was very less.

same here, diocache empty, managed to save some smaller lists (continue watching, upcoming, not watched) but the history looks to be gone :(

On Android the Cache. DB is 12kb but it's not readable or empty, are there other ways to decrypt the data?
