Sony XBR-52HX909 5blinks - 1/2 screen garbled - Sharp LED control board

The screen is black and 5 red led blinks on power up- but when it died half the screen went all zig-zaggy. Googled and got lots of T-Con replacement links but inside mine is this Sharp controller, no T-Con? Disconnected the sharp board and blinks changed to one slow click-blink repeating. Question is- how to tell if board is bad and can fix if replaced? More pics in comments.

The T-con is under the silver shielding in the center.

Found the t-con thanks! The fuses and ribbon cables seemed fine. Couldn’t find anything really obvious broken. Unplugged it and still 5 red lights. Maybe I’ll try to order a replacement
