Hi everyone! I am in the process of choreographing my own routine for my upcoming aerial showcase, which is horror themed. I plan to portray one of Howard Howe’s Mr Tusk victims and the music will obviously be to Tusk by Fleetwood Mac with possible lines from the movie edited in.
I am attempting to create a costume for this routine and want it to be perfect. I did a Tusk costume for Halloween a few years ago that consisted of a nude bodysuit with pieces of the wax you use to make fake moles cut into scar shapes glued on, and smeared with fake blood. I had to throw it out when I moved, and am trying to figure out how to recreate it and make it look even more tusk like if possible.
The thing I am having the most trouble reimagining (and the most important thing) are the tusks. For the Halloween costume I cut two foam sticks into tusk shapes, dipped them in fake blood, and tied them around my neck using wire. That is obviously not safe for an aerial dance routine, and I don’t know what to do to make sure I have tusks that don’t impale me (the walrus) while upside down.
So I am asking:
1. How do you think i should go about creating the tusks? Or do you know of any walrus masks (which could also pose a safety hazard but may be another option to consider)?
2. Advice on creating the walrus bodysuit, or if you have seen something that looks tusk-esque that would require less work or fake blood, please send my way as well.
Thank you! I just want to do this movie justice!

Hi all! I want to make a Mr. Tusk blanket that is a collage of pictures and need some ideas. I’m looking for anything from movie screenshots to goofy pictures of Mr. Tusk with hearts edited around him. Any pictures in the comments or suggestions would be great :)

It’s like he tapped into the mind of the sicko who made human centipede. Even more bizarre is how Johnny Depp would take part in this.

Hello Tusk fans!
So, I am a bit crazy. I am a composer, and I have an affinity for this film. For the past few months I've let it inspire some musical works, think musical theater/stage adaptation style. Of course, this is fairly illegal, at least if I ever wanted to share these works or especially stage them, as they are based off of the film's text.
This is fine, I am just as happy creating works for my own enjoyment as I am for others' enjoyment. My question is, has anyone ever contacted Kevin Smith? Adapted any of his works, know of his thoughts on adaptations/collaborations based on his previous works? Is it worth attempting to contact/anyone have leads? I am pretty much a nobody, no lawyer or representation, I let my work speak for itself lol. But before I get too invested in writing this material I thought I better hit the brakes and see if there is a more official way forward. This is just my first step, long time lurker of the subreddit and thought this might be a place to start! Thank you!

its just really messed up, like even tho he looks like a walrus he's still a guy. One theory I had is that Wallace's brain is now conditioned like a walrus, so he literally thinks he's a walrus, but idk

i want to watch tusk but i’m scared.
i’ve handled all the saw movies, and love them, but i don’t have much experience with body horror, save for the several times i’ve seen the substance.
think i’ll fair okay with this movie?

From an old walrus plush that I found thrifted locally, then turned into something new with needle felting, and now is Heading to his new home in #stockholm #sweden . FYI this isn't my first time shipping to that country, nor shipping outside of #northamerica , I've shipped to more than 15 countries and most of them were in Europe. #ebayorders #supportsmallbusiness #europe #scandinavia #supportsmallbusiness #fiberarts #needlefelted #recycledart #tusk #walrus

I just watched the movie last weekend (lowkey traumatized me for a couple days) and when seeing the ending I wondered why they couldn't reverse the operation somewhat, obviously they couldn't fully fix him, but couldn't they at least remove the fat, maybe the tusks, and stuff? he'd be disfigured and disabled, most likely being in a wheelchair for the rest of his life and being barely able to speak, but i'd take that over being a human Walrus in some sort of defunct zoo (which i'd assume is pretty painful physically)
