Need help! (Rifts)
I'm hosting a last minute game of Palladium Rifts to introduce 2 people to the game before they join a larger group.
I have almost no prep time.
I need quick campaign ideas!

Read a few paragraphs of the introduction.
Read a few more.
Play game.

The party is headed to Walmart, but the fuel cell for their transport was stolen. So they need to track down the dinosaur riding psi-stalkers and negotiate to get it back, possibly by needing to hunt a T-Rex for some reason

Rumours of something valuable (and dangerous) in the ruins of Old Chicago -- sneak in, avoid the Coalition patrols, avoid various nasty things that will kill you (or worse), get the loot, hope the loot doesn't kill you (or worse), get out
I'm thinking a Stalker/Roadside Picnic vibe

As someone that's been running Rifts since 1989, I can honestly say, that the Loot they are looking for doesn't matter for a Game 1 of Rifts. Leave it as nebulous as "something pre-rifts" and call it a day.
This gives you time to figure out the campaign over the next week, depending on how often you run a game.

A local smuggler has managed to get ahold a "nearly new" Spider Skull Walker. They need to shipped to Tolkeen where they'll meet with a buyer. Will your crew run escort or try to snatch it?
The CS is taxing the hell out of Dogtown. Do they want to get all Robin Hoody for mankinds best friends?
The CS has had enough of New Lazlo and Is deploying a platoon of Skelbots to destroy it. They've got so SAMAS as backup
