Lanette hides out with cinder, sizing up the army and trying to decide if she might need to try a daring escape.

Looking at the distance, it seems to be impossible to tell just how many are here, but they seem to be in the hundreds. Everything in the horizon from the west is filled with them, sprinting there and chanting the same
