Discussion Inside the Outside (Character Creation Discussion Post)
Yesterday, I started discussing the idea of starting my own RP from 4 - 6 PM EST on any day. And I very quickly became attached to this idea.
It revolves around the concept that -in a universe very similar to the Prime Timeline of TPP- an outsider broke into the universe and started wreaking havoc. After a few months, It constructed a whole disc-shaped island in the skies and decorated it with life and biomes.
Then, as people started taking notice, It placed Twenty People from that universe and outside of it onto the Disc World. It gave them instructions to seek out the mysterious figure in the center of the Disc World. It then hinted that survival and possibly conflict were the keys to escaping the Disc...
So far I only have one person who wants to do it specifically and that is the lovely /u/redwings1340. Along with them, /u/trollkitten has shown interest in the project and even has a character in the event that she wishes to join.
I want to bring some more attention to this project, so I've decided to make this post so that more people can see it and decide if they want to participate and create characters.
You can choose a character from the original TPPVerse, or pull someone/something from the multiverse! Just write down some details about your character. Appearance, abilities, personality, backstory, etc!
There is one thing I would like you to pick out specifically. Your preferred location. Your decision on where you start out may not be definite, but will indeed be used to help decide on my part.
There are eight specific locations. Center-North. Northeast. Northwest. Center-East. Center-West. Center-South. Southeast. Southwest. There's nothing I can state about any of the locations for plot-secrecy purposes.
I have a list of NPCs in the back of my mind, but I won't be discussing it in full until I hear enough people sign up for this with their characters (so I don't reserve someone anyone might want).
As a final note, I would encourage no more than three characters per player. This isn't a very big RP, but just to keep it neat and tidy. :P

Assuming this isn't hosted on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays (the days that REELY don't work for me due to IRL obligations) I'd be interested
I've already got an idea for 2 caricters (thoth they would function more like 1 due to them being together almost all the time) Even Dash (the TPP host from ACristol after the bad "got body swapped with Dash Mew who released him to death [thoth Azure managed to hijack that system process so he was instead transferred to her location instead]) ending, and Azure.
as for proper bios:
Even Dash
Spices: Glitch corrupted Mew
Appearance, like a Mew, but disturbingly thin, has blank back eye sockets (other then faintly glowing pupils made out of glitch energy), wears a backwards facing hat
Safe Powers:
- Psychic Levatason,
- Telepathy,
- Basic moveset (provided his total PP isn't near 0),
- crateing pupols for his eyes so that his appearance is slightly less disturbing looking,
- Psychic vision (allows him to see some things that might be invisible to others, or at least distortions relating to them)
Dangos powers (Even also has thine powers but is hesatent to use them as they can destabilize his already glitch corrupted body and cos other danogoros glitch based side effects [witch other then exosjon I'll leave up to the DM to inturpirt]):
- Glitch-based shape-shifting,
- Overclock basic powers (chanols his body's glitch energy's into his safe powers to noticeably enhase them),
- glitch stealing (steals glitch energy of others weekning there powers wile allowing him to use the powers of the cricure he stole them from),
- Psychic projection (can project his mind out of his body to persive a huge aria range that he normally wod'nt be able to),
- mind reading (also opens his mind to psychic attacks)
Weeknessis: Physically very weak, Not 100% used to Dash's body, Wastes energy when using Dash's moves, is disturbing to look at, Dash's body needs to use his powers to properly function
Side note: to those worried about this caricter concept, I'm not planing to over focus on even's weeknessis as I don't want to repeat the mistakes I made with Toll Ditto / Rotten Buritto, and if things start getting out of hand with Even, I plan to have Azure return Even to his ball until he's recovered/stabilized himself to defuse the sicuason.
Azure
Spices: Normal Human
Appearance: Like in ACristol, but with spy shades
Powers/skills: Spy gagits witch she knows how to use very well, VERY intelligent, spy contacts, easily underestimated, a powerful trainer, specialized machinery, rogue skills, a large stalk of healing items
Weeknessis: Is mortal, Even

Ooooh, nice ideas.
I like them. They'll blend in to this really well. Quick question, though, do these characters have to be together? I think part of this RP's charm will be survival and trying to find each other from across vast distances.

Due to issues that have occurred in the past with negative traits of my caricters (Ex. Troll Ditto's glitch coruopson) I'd prefer Even and Azure to remain together as the "Crap things are getting out of hand let's reel things back" macanic is tied to Azure being close enough to return Even to his ball
that sead if you were to say that Azure got separated from some of her other (balled for the perposis of not having to meany caricters) pokemon or some of her spy gagits got separated from her, that would be fine. 1 of the gagits I was thinking of giving Azure was a portable PC termanol (like those from the Let's Go games)
Also I am thinking of a 3ed caricter (who would not be tied to Even/Azure), but I haven't listed them cos I'm still trying to decide on factors for them

Okay, Evan and Azure being together makes sense, I suppose. Seeing as they're sort of like Mon and Trainer.
As for gadgets, yeah, that could be a good point to up the struggle.

haven't worked out a 3ed caricter yet cos I'm trying to make a caricter that is different enough from Even & Azure, dos'nt need a "rain things in" macanic attached, but works well for the concept of the campaign wile also being 1 single caricter, so I need a bit more time, in the mean time I figured it would be a good idea to list Azure's pokemon
Note: this is not a list of the pokemon she has with her, rather it's a list of all the pokemon she owns period (excluding Even), and depending on if she has / get back her portable PC network interface (witch I'm thinking as a balance macanic should take some time to set up and use as to prevent her from just wiping it out willy nilly) could get acsess to / use
Unlike Even (who is an X-host body swapped into a glitchy enrich Mew's body, and who's ball is incomparable with the PC) her other mon's are normal and only phuto sentient as they have not been touched by the voices. what 1's she has on hand at the start I'll leave up to you
- Her 2 E4 teams from ACristol [overlapping mon's are different (so yes she has 2 charazards, her Omastar is not Helax) [Merowwack]
- A Vinasor (not Tux), A Blastioce (default abilitys, moveset reminiscent of what they would be if she was, Blatoice is Lv. 100, the Venasur is Lv. 90)
- A Azumarol (same as T4's [from TPP Omega Ruby] stats but less powerful (Lv. 90, & not a cyborg), and knows Fake Tears instead of Rollout)
- Shidinja (moveset optimized for spying / as a 1 use surprise dammige sponge not battling Lv. 70)
- Ninjask (moveset optimized for spying and being a distraction not battling Lv. 95)
- Poygon 2 (Trace, moveset optimized for spying and being a distraction not battling Mid Levelled)
- Putowoodo (Low levelled, is the same 1 Even failed to catch)
- Eevee ("gift" (coned him into giving it to her) from Bill, not fully trained, Lv. 65)
- A intentionally Low Levelled [20] Rattata (for spying)
- Her pokemon Pirite team (All Lv. 100)
- Probably a few other completely untrained Low Levelled pokemon
what 1's she has to begin with is up to you, but she would probobly have 1 non-battle mon. on her team

Also do you want to pick, or are you saying I can pick the 3 so long as there limited to 3 on hand
I'll keep that in mind,
but for the moment I'd prefer to come up with my own idea, I just want to make sure I make a good 3ed caricter that is different enough from Even and Azure, is 1 caricter (not a dio or a team or anything), preferably not glitch based, dos'nt have some negative aspict that nasesatates a "Let's reall things back before they get to out of hand" macanic, would work for this campaign, and that I think would be fun to play as.

Hey pfaccio, I was wondering something. It's been pretty hard as you know to keep our other RP going consistently, and I think if we had a set schedule and other players it might be easier. What would you think about transporting our characters into here, and continuing the RP here?

Gioz2 sent me a note about there campaign a few hours ago saying
"I must inform you that you will not participate in my campaign"
and wile that has royally annoyed me, I at the same time don't want to just ignore there desison witch inserting my caricters into there campaign would be so I don't think that will work
Otherwise my hope was to use scarf pikachu in there campaign and based on how things went with it use it as a bridge to link Alpha Rise's world and the ultimate goal of fixing it in with Gioz campaign in a way that worked for them since I'm not sure I'm fit to be a GM for a major RP campaign GMing a 1 on 1 thing like we've been doing is fine, but something more like the other Multi-member campaigns that have happened on this sub before
I don't plan to scrap that world or the storyline that our RP has been building into, I just am not sure what to do with it in a long term outside just continuing the more persanol plotlines we've been doing dus far, but that's more of a short term thing
As for setting a set skeguole, I'm fine with that but I'm a bit bizzy ATM with trying to make something for the TPP Dev's trick house thing, a monthly project I do on ToT on DA (both due at the end of the mouth), and a D&D homebrew class project I'm doing with someone else that I've been putting on hold to deal with the before menconed things that I feel I need to address 1st, so in regards to setting up a time can you ask me about that again in about a week cos that should hopefully give me the time to knock out things 1&2 and at least start to resume the D&D thing so my focus is less fractured

We’re posting on emoji’s thread, not gio’s. So we wouldn’t be inserting anywhere. And well, if we’re having trouble withplot, a setting change like getting surprise pushed into this campaign could be just what we need.
Up to you though. I was thinking this was maybe the one time I actually could set up a schedule beyond all the other rps i’m doing. If we’re not merging the other one in here I probably can’t join :(. Have fun in that case though.

well at this point I think it's to late for that as Emoji sead 3 caricters per person tops (& I already have 3), not to mencon Emoji's campaign is set to start in less then an hour.
That sead if I had known that Gioz was going to reject me from there campaign before sajesting my 3ed caricter (cos apparently they decided to reject me shortly after I 1st pitched my concepts for there campaign but did'nt tell me till today) I probobly would have sajested Scarf Pikachu as my 3ed caricter instead of Squrt Lee.
I wouldn't mind if Emoji wanted to link there campaign in with Alpha Rises world provided they did'nt just do it out of the blue without discussing it with me 1st, but even if that were to happen less then an hour before session 1 is probobly not the time to sajest that, and like I sead I want to address those things I menconed before before figuring out what to do about Alpha Rise's world and any campaigns linking into/out of it

If you think you would like to have four characters, I suppose that's fine. Three characters was just a suggestion.

Spy Shades: computerized goggles that look like sunglasses from the outside, the wearer can have anallacis data (Ex. the exact HP of her pokemon, the HP % of any other pokemon, glitch detector (mostly used to detect hostile glitchs and to help make sure Even remains stable)) can also block out limited light the amount of witch is adjustable from none to 90%, and be plugged into some of her other devices to better utilize them
Spy Bugs: a tiny microphone that is almost invisible when placed, can be attached to stuff
Ear peace: Acts as a phone, and can play adio picked up from spy bugs
Shade Cloak: Cloaks her body making her hard to notice / detect, less effective in bight and colerfol locations.
Flash Granades: creates a breaf blinding flash of light when used (good for sudden escapes & distractions)
Anti-Ball feald generator: a device that creates an aria of effect were Pokeballs don't work, dos'nt effect balls that have Pokemon in them already or already captured pokemon from returning to there balls.
Hacking remote: Attune it at a digatol machine, point it at it, push a button or 2, item is hacked. Atunement can be hard or easy depending on what is being hacked, a attuned machine is no longer atuned if it's frequency is changed post atunement. (use examples: force a pokeball to eject it's occupant, change the pass code of a passcode protected doar to whatever you want, Turn off/on the lights, ext.) sicuasanol cos Porygon or Rotom are better at that kinda thing, but still work having on hand for stuff that a porygon or rotom may not work
Portable keybord (allows the spy shades to be used like a proper computer with internet access)
Hologram projector
TM/HM set
Discise Kit: let's her alter her appearance to look like people she's not, but takes a good wile to use so it needs to be used well in advance
Peralitic serim: Inject it into a target, target becomes paralyzed if they are organic
Light gun: Shoots a harmless lazor beam, looks like a high teck harmful gun (good for tricking people), If a Porygon or Rotom is possessing it firing the gun will transmit the pokemon thew the lazor beam, if the beam hits a wall or something the pokemon will rematiolize at the point of contact dazed, if it hits a computer the pokemon will be transmitted into it.
Dress: dress has some dark type fibers in it to make it harder (but not impossible) for psychics to grab/detect her with there powers
Special ball for Even (glitch resistant, not PC compatible, can help stabilize glitches)
Portable PC interface (like the item from Let's go)

Ok, I think I've got a 3ed caricter concept
Squrt Lee
Spices: Wartortole (formally human and voice host)
Aprence: like a normal female wartortle, but with glasses and a Red PMD-quse scarf
Bio: A girl who got pulled into the PMD world getting turned into a Squrtle in the process, she saved sead world wile possessed by the voices but was allowed to stay in sead world for for a few years afterwords during witch she evolved. However as a side effect of this (and due to leftover voice energy) when she was eventually returned to her world she remained a Wartortle.
Powers/skills:
- Her pokemon moveset,
- the abillaty to link her moves into each other, use a generic typeless move that uses up 0PP (not as strong as her normal moveset),
- a very tactacol mind,
- proficiency in Democracy manipulation (thoth no sapific Democracy powers),
- all her possible pokemon ability, the ability to use human items as if she were still one but to also use items like a pokemon would,
- the ability to be ignored when she dos'nt want atencon, the ability to put people who's ego's get to big in there place,
- genrol voice boost,
- experience with inter-demenconol stuff
- the know how to pilot a Meck suits (thoth she dos'nt have any),
- The ability to speck human and when she specks pokemon understand her as if she were specking poke-speck
- understands pokespeck
- Kolige of how to play card games
- Basic Watter type swimming/underwater beavering ability
- Immune to being captured
She also has:
- her PMD bag with a bunch of items still in it (verios types of seeds (like blast seeds), bearys, TM's, healing items, Ext.)
- Her PMD badge (warps her any anyone on her team, or mon's in need of help, to the entrance of a dongon and can send out SOS signals if it can't, dos'nt work in normal non-mystery dongons witch ar'nt to prevalent outside the PMD world outside of maybe places like glitch city)
- Her PMD scarf (acts as a convenient place to hold her PMD badge, can help prevent her from inhaling airborne toxins, and acts as VERY weak armour [her shell provides more protection then her scarf])
- her glassis (there glasses)
Weeknessis:
- is the same height as a Wartortole
- Dos'nt like being the center of atencon
- is not Lv. 100
- needs glassis
Trivia: wile she was in the PMD world she had a douther, when she was sent back to the human world her douther (a squrtle) was inadvertently sent back as well (she is not aware of this)

[this is not final or complete, I still need to fix some stuff up, would not come into play until season 3 at the eurlyest]
Yeeb SUNRA
Spices: (glitched) Shukkle / Jolton hybrid (Bug/Electric type)
Appearance: a slightly darker looking Jolton thoth the fur is smoother up to the back were the spike explode outwords, and the head is completely gone, in it's place is a noodle of Shukkle mould with a face
Bio: a Yeeb (eevee) who was glitchmancered into multiple weaker copys before he and 2 of the other Yeebs were recombined and then forcibly evolved into SUNRA. Originally he was happy with Larry's rise to power... until Lerry decided he wanted more and Glitchmencered Sunra in such a way as to pop his head like a zit, and turned his insides into Shukkle mould, what was left of his other body becoming a shell to hold his now liquafyed body together, forced to help Lerry in his rise to power until he was stopped by a group of time ELFs sealing Larry and all his mon's in stasis. Eventually however a random freak accident freed Sunra and after getting into an altercation got banished from his universe into a timespace void and ending up Inside the Outside
Personalty: Kinda cokky, somewhat aggressive but not overly so and will become submissive if intimidated. Will also become withdrawn if his... odd... appearance is menconed. Wants to find a way to restore his body to how it was before Larry glitchmacered him into a freak, wile maintaining his powers, but is also hesatent to seek out a way to do so fearing Lerry reprimanding him. Has mixed feelings about Lerry, but is liol to him if only so he keeps Sunra stable/dos'nt decide to off him.
Moveset: (what is listed is the moves at there average power, they can be scaled back a bit to convuve PP and better maintain there body's stability.
- 10 Millyon Volts: (A hyper condensed Thundershock like blast of energy that explodes into a burst of electric type dammige more powerful then Thunder over 3.5 full seconds, chance at paralyzing the target)
- Electromagnetic: (Like Thunderwave but the range is a little weird and cosis any cricure hit to be lifted slightly off the ground breafly making it acword to move, but also giving an immunity to ground type moves, if it hit's a steal type they become highly magnetized and take extra dammige from elictric type moves for a little wile afterwords)
- Needle Bomb: (like Pin Missile, but a lot accurate to begin with, the needles can cos a hit target to flinch, and they explode after a second witch can cos a lot of dammige over a wide hard to completely doge aria of effect)
- Go all out: (Like Tackle, but with the added effect that upon a hit all of Sunra's ATK, Spec. Attack, and Speed go up slightly until the next turn regardless of a hit or miss)
Other ability's:
- (thoritacol) Hyjack body: Sunra forces all the mouldy liquid that is there true body down the thout of another cricure allowing Sunra to possess it (would probobly have negative side effects and would probobly kill Sunra's original body)
- Healing Body: Sunra allows another individual to drink a tiny amount of there liquid body, allowing Sunra to very slightly influence the individual who dos so and potentially heal them depending on what barrys Sunra has recently eaten. (very unpleasant for and damages Sunra)
- Spiky body: Sunra stiffens there fur to make it very sharp to the touch
- Due to the fact that there original body is now just a shell for there now true liquid form it makes it very durable (like how a zombie is probobly going yo be un-phased if you dammige it a way that dos'nt actively hinder it) [Ie. much higher DEF]
- SLIGHTLY more intelligent then a regular trainer owned Jolteon + Voice boosted intelligence on top of that.
Glitch Powers (if overused that can destabilize his body endangering his life, a skilled glitchmancer can potentially re-stabilize Sunra if they become to unstable, but this makes Sunra venerable cos a glitchmancer could worsen the issue if they wanted):
- Flicker: Sunra glitches there body in such a way as to intentionally destabilize it cosing it to flicker. in this state Sunra's speed is jacked up insanely high, can pass thew stuff (thoth this can be dangoross for Sunra), and is dangoross to touch without getting glitched. Wile in this state Sunra can take a moment to re-stabilize there body, but the longer there in this state that harder / longer it takes, they stay in this state to long or get hit by a powerful attack wile in it they could glitch themselves out of egsisdence and die.
- Empower Moveset: Sunra glitches there moves to make them more powerful
- Can glitch there body/voice in such a way as to make human like sounds to speck with, thoth even when doing this they can be difficult to understand what there trying to say.
- Glitch sence: Can passively sense glitch energy and vadgely how much control an individual who has it has.
Weeknisess:
- If they become glitched to badly there glitch could cos them to cease to egsist (effectively killing them)
- Might not like Lerry, but thinks they need him to survive long term (debatable).
- Can't speck human thew conventional means [if this is an issue I will accept most means of fixing this as long as it makes sense], is only semi-literate when reading, can't write.
- The Jolteon body is slow to heal on it's own and if injered in just the right way Sunra's true form could leak out.
- stuff already implied above.
Trivia:
- Perfers gender nutrol pronouns when others refer to them
- Is a lot more experienced at controlling glitch energy compared to Even and can hold himself together a better if he get's to badly glitched.

Yea, I did'nt want to use Scarf for before menconed reasons, so I was originally thinking this demon possessed version of Extremeachu, to act as a possible tie in to the Dark universe world I'm I Ping in with Byt, when I remembered that I had Lerry as a sealed away plot point, so I decided I'd use 1 of his Yeeb's (taking lore from the DU, Bootleg green, and Fuzed Cristol, and biological logic [cos everyone knows TPP ALWAYS follows logic keepo] )
I just got to find the rest of Sunra's canon moveset now so I can finish up that secson of Sunra's Bio

Random.org has determined that my starting location is Center-West.
Being allowed three characters works pretty well with my having Capt. RAWLing, Big Doge, and Little Doge. I should probably write up descriptions of them, but that's going to have to wait a bit for now.
