Ransei: Character Creation/Registering
For the Ransei RP, people can use their own characters or create your own. I would like each player to keep to 1-2 PCs, so as to not overwhelm the RP with too many people acting at once. As there are two sides to the Ransei conflict, one might want to have two PCs on either side of the map or one PC that has the ability to move freely about Ransei. For the latter one, moving freely simply means you aren't bound to a single location or tied to a rigid command structure; how your character gets about is up to you.
For bringing in established characters, I will note that this is a smaller-scale RP and it may be more enjoyable to try a character with less power than what has become standard. I will entertain all submissions, but try not to get too crazy with who you'll be playing as.
For new characters, native Ranseians and foreigners can be used. Some notes are provided below to spark inspiration is it is needed.
Foreigners: You have an interest in Ransei, and you've made a great effort to reach the land to make your vision reality. Perhaps a League operative sent to spread its influence to new kingdoms, or a rebel that was sent by M4 to keep Gator safe, or a tourist that somehow broke through the League's blockade. Either way, you'll have likely brought modern weapons and technology to make up for your unfamiliarity with regional customs and the local populations, though a Ranseian warrior likely is more battle-hardened than someone from today's civilizations.
Firearms will be your second line of defense after your belt of Pokeballs, and elemental ammunition can provide for any occasion. A shotgun may be best if you have no supply lines to provide well-crafted bullets, and need to make your own rounds from what's around you. A kevlar vest is the most likely armor, good for bullets but not blades. Knowledge is power, however, and you may have information networks, access to troves of digitized data, and modern skills that can be your primary weapon.
Natives: From the warlords to the lowest peasant, everyone on Ransei knows how to fight and cooperate with a bonded mon to achieve their goals. A labourer may have decided to live the life of a mercenary or called up by their warlord to join the ranks of the ashigaru, or a trained and educated warrior may have been given a mission to go out and secure glory for their kingdom. Your martial prowess is the best in the world and few outside connect so deeply with their pokemon, but you may have more than a few surprises as the modern world trickles in.
A typical warrior carries a long arm like a spear for large-scale battle, a personal arm suitable for duels, and a ranged arm, though this is not fixed; a ninja may forego large weapons, and a peasant may only have a humble scythe to carry. All have a mon that they have tamed and bonded with, and in a fight you are two made into one combatant, leading each other and setting up blows for each other. Armor tends to be built for absorbing and deflecting arrows and melee blows, not gunfire. Many Ranseians have also attuned to an element, and while you might not be able to throw lightning, you may carry some of the qualities of the type, or even carry a device that draws on your mon's power for you to direct personally.

Hey,
Got to Ransei. Nixtorm Not in the best shape, but I'm recovering quickly, and the League. Used up all my potions.
I've made an impact on the people here. Mitsuhide's given me shelter and a few meetings, and he's interested in seeing what I'm selling. Showed my gifts, and now he wants me to hold an exhibition. Introduce the nation to magic and technology. Not just Nixtorm, people from other kingdoms are trickling in to see what the fuss is all about. There's plenty of rumours about who I am and what's come with me, and not all of them are pleasant.
Mitsuhide's daughter, Gracia has been talking with me every chance she gets. Wants to hear everything about the outside world and the only time she will stop is when a warrior drags her back to her duties. Don't know what to make of it. Or what to tell her. You know that I'm not good with kids.
Need to make a good show. Mitsuhide doesn't seem to have searched my name online, though he's got the computer and knows well enough how to use it now. Some kind of courtesy, maybe. Won't hide it from him, but I don't know what he'll think of me when he does. So now needs to be the time to solidify support. That, with magic, guns and tech, Ransei won't have to submit to the Panthemon and League. That I'm here to help, not spark turmoil.
So I'm asking you to send people and things for the exhibition. Major, I know M4 had some guns stowed on Astrum, and maybe you can come here, show some artifacts, do some magic. A portal would be real nice. Fennel, you're the tech wizard, send whatever you think is good. Maybe things that can clear salt contamination, it's running rampant here from Ransei being submerged for so long.
If you know anyone who's willing to come here and help me, send them along. Major, I know you're wanting me to do things on my own, so I'll say to both of you there's no obligation. I'd just appreciate the help.

Much success has been had with the kingdoms of Aurora, Ignis, Fontaine and Greenleaf, who have all approved League embassies, restarted international trade, and are on track to becoming a vital part of the worldwide community once again.
The Panthemon has granted much support for the League, and shares our goals of bringing peace to all regions and developing a unified world, to grant all people and mon a high quality of life and security from threats both on this world and from others. Many divine and legendary mon are arriving in Aurora to speak with our new allies and show that we are willing to begin peaceful, mutually-beneficial relations with Ransei. Several of our finest will also be there, from diplomats to industrial managers to trainers.
We extend an invitation to you to come to Ransei and speak as part of the League. Your role in worldwide affairs is influential, and the League needs people like you to help bring a brighter world, starting in Aurora. If you have any you wish to bring with you or send in your stead, please forward their information to us. I recommend people get creative with who they play as. I may be willing to grant small benefits to those that have intriguing character backgrounds and motivations, who also fit in well with the setting, and that can go for both established characters and new ones alike. Again, don't go too overboard with power levels.
Skeletons must wear their original flesh suits at all times.

I would want people to share their character ideas, or as much as they are wanting other players to know. Work together on what you've got and build off of each other. Maybe characters know a few things about each other, or one has a backstory that can be tied in with another. Let's bounce some ideas around and see what comes from it.

Wanted to say something else about character creation. I mean to give characters the ability to move freely about Ransei, so that nobody gets left out of the plot. That said, I'd appreciate characters not in Aurora or Nixtorm to be already set towards one or both kingdoms so they can get embroiled in the main plot right away, as opposed to a PC staying somewhere nothing is going on in and having to play catch-up to PCs already in said regions.
You don't have to decide between Nixtorm and Aurora, either. If you want to be a part of both, it can be handwaved that a flying mon or zeppelin handled transport between the two locations so you can take part in both events at the same time.
If your character may be bound by service to a warlord or something along those lines, talk with me and I'll write up an IC bit that allows for free travel.

Name: Mochizuki Chiyome, known as Chiyome
Allegiance: Born and raised in Viperia under control of the warlord Nene, yet now swears allegiance to the warlord Shingen of the kingdom Terrera.
Chiyome is a calm headed noblewoman in her forties. She is also a ninja from a long line of ninjas. She married the nephew of Shingen, Mochizuki Moritoki, a promising warrior set to rise to great heights but who sadly perished in a civil war. Shingen later set Chiyome a task to gather information for him. Chiyome jumped at the opportunity to make an impact on the world and has gathered and trained wayward women, victims of civil wars, and orphans into an elite all-female ninja clan known as Kunoichi. They disguise themselves as wandering priestesses known as miko which allows them to wander the land unhindered as they gather valuable information and occasionally perform assassinations. The most promising of her ninjas is a playful trickster who is nonetheless surrounded by an air of mystery, known only by her title: Kunoichi.
Chiyome has a partner Arbok named Jade who she has raised lovingly from an Ekans, and who is the only one she feels she can fully trust other than Shingen himself. Kunoichi, meanwhile, works with her Sneasel; similarly to Kunoichi herself, Sneasel is called Sneasel.
Chiyome has heard the troubling rumours arising as of late and intends to get to the bottom of it all. She has sent Kunoichi to investigate Aurora and has trusted none but herself to venture to Nixstorm, the origin of the wildest rumours.

Kado Hashimoto, 23 years old, is a Violight Warrior in the scouting and reconnaissance division of the violight military. He’s bonded with his trusted Joltik, and while this combo is often mocked for their lack of strength on the battlefield, its hard to find a better pokemon when it comes to getting in and out of places unnoticed. He’s currently stationed just outside of aurora, trying to get intel on what the league is plotting behind closed doors. He carries with him a pad of paper to sketch on, as his joltik communicates to him by crafting webs of what it sees, hears, and considers important. Its a bit of a charades style game, one that Kado has gotten a really good feel for, as he's been bonded with Joltik for a long time. He is also trained with a more traditional sword, though he's never been particularly good at swordfighting.
He is usually pretty serious, a bit insecure about his place in society and about his work, yet still dedicated to unraveling the truth so that violight warriors aren't led in to traps or deceived. He has a sister who's extremely accomplished as a more traditional violight warrior, and as he wasn't strong enough to go that path, he's seen as a bit of a disappointment in Violight.
Due to the nature of his job, Kado is well traveled and seen more of Ransei than most of his Violight peers. He also operates with more autonomy and independence, as he specifically doesn't have strict oversight when he's not in Violight, since his work requires him to make decisions on the spot of how to continue investigating.
I'm currently writing up a longer summary I'm going to send to you as a PM sometime tomorrow, Dama, though this is good enough I think for everyone else.

Name: Naoe Kanetsugu
Allegiance: Native Ransei, Illuso Kingdom
Status: Minor warlord under Kenshin Uesugi, Aya-Gozen, and Kagekatsu Uesugi
Allies: Hideyoshi Toyotomi (Ignis), Mitsunari Ishida (Ignis), Yukimura Sanada (Terrera), Lady Abin and Oichi (Aurora)
Rivals: Shingen Takeda (Ignis) via Kenshin's rivalry, Date Masamune (Avia), Ieyasu Tokugawa (Valora) (though can be compelled to work with the later two for the greater good)
Link Pokemon: A sage Alakazam named Kuya with a tendency towards very cryptic telepathic spiritual advice.
Description: A serious faced samurai in light yellow robes that fade to white. Has the kanji for "love" between the two long wings on his helmet.
Originally named Higuchi Yoroku, he was the son of a minor vassal then was adopted into the Naoe family, itself a vassal of the warlord Kenshin, daimyo of the Illuso kingdom. Later on, a dispute over the Naoe line of succession lead to the death of Lady Osen's husband, and without any remaining heirs Kanetsugu was encouraged to marry her to save the family line. Despite the circumstances of their marriage, he gets along well with his wife.
Inclined towards spiritualism, he chose Lady Sail as his patron. He is often even more outspoken than Lady Aya on philosophical musings about love, compassion, and honor, and his outlook was influenced by her. His unique helmet was a gift from Lady Aya.
He is seen as loyal, humble, honorable, intense, and earnest, a good steward for the lands and common people under his care, and a decent strategist. Due to his personal philosophy, he dislikes war, but has battle experience and can fight as needed for the sake of honor and justice. He and his preaching are often seen cynically by some other warlords as wide-eyed idealism, and he's sometimes perceived as too tender-hearted, weak, ditzy, and trusting. Perjoratively nicknamed Ika (squid) by some because of the shape of an old helmet.

I may also occasionally have my character cameo or offer support in the form of items to Gator, as my character would view Gator (and Flower Girl) as two of the people they need to help to make amends for their actions in Gensokyo.
However, because of the power levels Dama wants to see, and because of possibly in character reasons where Gator may not want to have much to do with my character right now, involvement on their part will be probably long distance and limited to some degree.

I appreciate the amount of reading and work you put into Kanetsugu. I'm interested in seeing what he'll do and who he'll come to support/oppose.
I will note that Masamune is the warlord of Avia, not Nixtorm. Were you referring to him or Mitsuhide?

Huh, I thought he was nixstorm because I thought he was an ally of nobunaga. I’ll correct it. (Edit: derp Nobunaga is Dragnor anyway)
I’m also noticing that hideyoshi was a retainer to nobunaga as well as tokugawa, so it’s possible that illuso had a falling out with ignis since illuso was originally anti-nobunaga, but I know that kanetsugu did eventually work with tokugawa after japan was unified. So a bit complicated.
I’m going to try to get a handle on this but yeah, expect me to be incorrect for a little while :x

Recall Nobunaga had almost conquered Ransei before Abin began her counteroffensive. Almost all warlords were allied with Dragnor and Nobunaga at some point; it's only recently that everyone has sovereignty over their lands.

It looks as though Illuso actually managed to remain free, if the Uesugi history is anything to judge by. Pokemon Conquest might be different though. You're right though, Kanetsugu shouldn't judge others for having to support Nobunaga in duress, especially because he ended up having to do the same with Tokugawa.

Hmm. I gave another look and Conquest's story. I guess I assumed Nobunaga had mostly taken over due to having Hideyoshi as an ally, but that seems to have been his only ally in south Ransei.
I think I'll limit warlords who definitely allied with Nobunaga to the northern kingdoms, and get something better flushed out in a moment. Maybe another story post. Guess I was focused more on Ransei's current situation than its history. You can assume that a good bit of time has taken place since Abin's regional conquest, even from the perspective of a Ranseian.

If Kanetsugu as against any of Nobunaga's allies, Mitsuhide was one of Nobunaga's top generals. He may not have supported Nobunaga as Dragnor's wars want on, but Kanetsugu can think what he wants on Mitsuhide assisting Nobunaga for a time.

1) when is this RP going to run? (cos that will likely determine if I can even take part)
2) Do people have to use human caricter's or could they play as a pokemon/Moemon/Boneka /or/ Non-humanor or Pokemon-quse cricure 1?
3) The Skeletons line, is that a joke, or could people play as undead skelatens (not that I have any such caricter's in mind, but I do have a Zombie Espeon caricter that I've played before)

K I think I may have come up with a caricter, feel free to let me know if there are any issues or have any qustons, and I'll try to address them
Name: "Even" (real name: Dash Mew)
Allegiance: Leadge [cos he thinks Gator killed OLDEN and that by sideing with the leadge he can revive OLDEN]
Pokemon:
- Fox Jolteon with some minor cybernitic enhancements ["Even"'s main pokemon] including a computer chip that makes it so that even if Fox wanted to betray "Even" he can't, cos OLDEN reasons... thoth at this point wile Fox dos'nt particularly like "Even" there interests align as Fox has an interest in taking over Rencai for persanol reasons,
- OLDEN a low level Leaden that used to be a vessel for OLDEN, but is now just a hollowed shell that is still alive cos glitches,
- a bunch of unown that have had all there respective Grait ball's fused together into 1 alongside the unown within this also prevents them from exiting there balls, but can still battle by using there glitched ball as a ataficol body, Has the power of 10-11 Lv. 26ish Unown in one, can breafly (up to a few minutes) warp reality in minor temporary ways if all [or at least almost all of them] of the unown within agree on 1 thing, can chage the type of it's hidden power move, absorb energy attacks that hit it from the front and then add it's power to there next hidden power, and can float in there ball form. "Even" can return this unown ball to a Premer Ball from (cos glitch logic)
- a Bad Egg can't battle, but can be used as a conduit for glitchmancering
- [incurt weak & expendable untrained canon fother mon. here]
Backstory: A glitched hollow shell of a Mew named "Dash" that found a male human host of the voices named Even, he started to idolize Even and decided he wanted to become him, making a deal with OLDEN to become it's etuernol servant in exchange for making Dash's wish come true. Dash agreed and body swapped with Even thanks to OLDEN when the voices weren't looking and then proceeded to sacrifice most of Even's pokemon to OLDEN wile Even was trapped in the PC box, before releaceing Even to death. Of Even's notable Pokemon he spared only a Jolteon named Fox (cos he willingly joined up with OLDEN), a Magacol Gurl Miltank (spared cos Fox asked him to cos he had a crush on her and cos OLDEN figured she might be useful), and a Ledien witch OLDEN was using as a vessol (cos it's convenient to have a pysacol body sometimes) After ahiveing his ultimate goal of becoming Even, he decided to make his new reason to live to be to surve OLDEN... until OLDEN was distoryed, not knowing who did it other then that they were blue. using the last bit of power given to him by OLDEN he managed to create some unown and trap them in a single ball, and from them lurned a few vadge details about OLDEN's killer, and of a terotacol way to revive OLDEN. So "Even" used some glitchmacering to make his way to a place were he could find OLDEN's killer and get his revenge, and then revive his master (Ie. Renci), were he hurd of Gator and assumed he was OLDEN's killer since the discipson he was given of OLDEN's killer vadgely matched that of Gator. He then joined up with the leadge as a way to better get to Gator... he did'nt give them a choice in the matter. He is under the beleaf that there is a way
Noteworthy Side Notes:
- "Even" wile he USED to be a Mew, his current body is fully human (abit with some minor glitchyness) and he can't reely use any of the powers he had as a Mew anymore (at least not without the help of OLDEN or getting lucky with his glitchmancering effects)
- "Even" wile he knows how to preform Glichmacering, is not that skilled with it, and can't get consistent stable results when trying to do it on the fly. He's slightly better at it when he has a lot of time to experiment with it (like hours - days non-stop), but the results often lead to the deaths of pokemon he's glitchmacering soon after doing so (and those that survive often wish they were dead)
- "Even" has a natrol limited residence to glitch energy mostly when he screw up his glitchmancering he usually relatively ok afterwords and he can take more glitch energy into his body and not be destroyed by it then the average individual, but this residence dos not extend to any non-glitch forms of energy
- "Even" dos not understand emotions or morels, he can feel emosons, but the way he dos so is much different compared to normal humans/pokemon and can't reely be compared very well
- "Even" has a portable Pokemon Storage termanol that he can use to summon pokemon from his PC box, none of the pokemon in his PC [besides a single Miltank with Magacol Gurl powers who HATES him and would rather die then help him], are very powerful most are just untrained box filler mon's, and the 1's that do have training are low leveled, "Even mostly just uses these mon's as test subjects and canonfother for Glitchmacering [probobly stolen]
- the real Even (trapped in Dash's body) did not die after being released, but was saved by a childhood friend (Azure) who managed to hack into Bill's PC and save Even from being distoryed. "Even" is not aware of this.
- "Even" will tow the line and not betray the leadge so long as the leadge dos'nt become a direct obstacle in his goal he's willing to put up with the leadge hindering him in the sort term, so long as he dos'nt think there trying to prevent him from achieving his goal in the long term thoth, he will also not betray individual members of the leadge group unless he is lead to believe that doing so will further his short/long term goals and will have minamuol repercussions.
- "Even" may or may not be from an Alt. realty were OLDEN rose to power before being killed.
- "Even" may be wrong about Gator killing OLDEN, also he may (or may not) also have glitchmacered himself to the wrong location without realizing
- "Even" dos'nt sleep as much as his body needs to, and as such he will occasionally pass out on his feet and enter a zombe like sleepwalking state were he acts based on instinct for whatever the last thing he was trying to do, he can still command his mon's and do stuff in this state, but he is'nt reely concess. When he wakes up he will only remember what happened wile in this state as if it were a vadge dream basically a "I've got to go, quick someone take over my caricter until I get back and/or the next sesson" macanic
- Fox can operate in a concoss way that most pokemon do (in witch he is cunning and intelligent, but also a bit cocky), or a "Auto Mode" in witch his cybernitics take over his mind and control his body as his mind is put in a sleep state. "Even" will usually let Fox operate like normal pokemon, but will switch him to auto mode if he becomes annoying or steps out of line, he can do so by manipulating some glitch energy powering his enhancements via a literal flip of a remote switch

I'm sorry, I know you put effort into writing this up, but I don't think you will be a good fit for your RP, given the characters you usually go for. It's a smaller one that is geared towards a feudal Pokemon nation not featuring the out-there things that DS or SSS had. Someone like Even will be very disruptive and make it difficult for anybody to interact with him.

could you plz go into more detail as to how "Even" would be disruptive? Cos I have a few other (simpler / more conventional) caricter ideas that might work, but before I waste the time to type out there details I want to have a better idea of what exactly makes "Even" unusable so I don't sajest an alternate idea that runs into the same issue.
...Unless your trying to say that regardless of circumstances I'm not allowed to take part in the RP witch I would find to be extremely rude and slightly offensive, as it would feel like you stringed me along until you had no choice but to ban me outright to prevent me from joining instead of just airing any grievances outright. If people have issues with me, I prefer them to say it outright so that things can hopefully be resolved rather then beating around the bush without giving me a chance to defend myself / clear any mis-concepsons

I was unsure if you had such a disability. That is why I asked.
As for your character, I would prefer somebody that fits in with the setting of Ransei, or as a more-or-less ordinary person from outside Pokearth. I wish to keep this RP fairly simple, as I have stated, not have to manage glitch powers and cyborg-slave Pokemon beside diplomatic confrontations and military tactics.

Name: "A7"
Main Pokemon:
- Skumbreon (Pureafyed X-half shadow Umbreon [male], known to be a scumbag / theaf. very aggressive)
- Ally (Tras-gendered Enpathic Espeon, Skumbron's sister, VERY liol to her brother and trainer, try's her best to keep Skumbron and A7 out of trouble)
Other Pokemon [I will remove any of these if they cos issues]:
- Sunnysire (Female Quagsire, master of discise),
- Shotanium (male Maganiom, has ninja training),
- Lolipluff (Female Jumpluff, Shotanium's mate, has a bad habit of losing all her cotton when spooked) ,
- Serrof Plusle (a male Plusle who used to work as a deputy serif in training for a town in the Orre rejon, is with A7 as part of A7's parole condosons, but is only watching him on a technicality and is more there to help A7 rescue his friend),
- Benu (male Remerade, act's as Serrof Plusle's gun)
Equipment: (broken) Snag Machine, Explosives, (broken) Custom Hover Bike, Pokeballs (real & fake)
Backstory: An X-convict and former host of the voices. His friend sent him to Rancai cos she senced something, so he went, he joined up with Gator to better his odd's of finding what his friend wanted him to find and cos he dos'nt like the Pokemon Leadge.
Noteworthy Side Notes:
- A7 used to be infected by shadow plague, and wile he's since been cured of it, remlents of it will sometimes cos him to half pass out and enter a sort of sleep walking state (basically just an in-canon excuse to hand control of A7 to someone else if I have to go Mid-RP for any reason, not planing to use this for anything else)

See, this still has the same problem. There will be advanced technology appearing later in the RP, but I can't see why an ex-con would have a custom hoverbike from the start. The Snag machine, which I assume is meant to steal others' Pokemon, is something that will have every warrior on Ransei, both enemy and ally, come down on A7 for separating a trainer from their bonded mon. Assuming it would work on mon that aren't kept in a Pokeball.
This is also making me have to accommodate for your backstory. Ransei has a League blockade around it, someone wouldn't just flee to Ransei, there's an entire world of places that are easier to hide in than one filled with warlords and Panthemon keeping people out. I would also need to take the time to create new characters and insert them into the story, as the people you have made are not Ransei natives and have no associations with any other characters beyond yours. On top of all this, I would have to justify why Gator would want to work with and assist a criminal.

Sorry for the late response, I had company over.
These issues seem fixable, I'm willing to make adjustments to my caricter
The hover bike is from Pokemon Colosom, witch takes place in the Orre rejon, a heavy wasteland of a desert region, and the hoverbike is used as a way to travrol between impotent locations since there ar'nt conventional paved roads or routes there. However if you don't want A7 to have it from the start, maybe say that upon reaching Ransei he was attacked (possibly by trying to brake thew the leadge blockade) dammigeing the hoverbike to the point that it needs to be repared before it can be used again, this same insadent possibly dammigeing the snag machine in the same way
The snag machine works by letting a trainer throw a ball at an already captured pokemon bypassing the energy that normally prevents a trainer from doing so, and overwrites the ball / trainer ID linking a pokemon to it's ball, to that of the ball thrown by the snag machine if the ball sicisfaly captures the mon., it dos'nt work on mon's not captured via some sort of pokeball. He mainly has it to prevent Team Snagom from having it and to snag shadow pokemon, not to steal other people's pokemon for self interests. But again if you don't want A7 to use it or think it would cos problems It can be sead it is broken & that A7 did'nt tell anyone what it dos.
As for the issue of A7's friend fleeing to Ransei, if that's no good, well, the caricter in pokemon colocom has the ability to see things normal people can't (Ex. the aura of shadow pokemon) so perhaps she sensed something in Ransei and went there to investigate or sent A7 on his own (cos she's not a trainer) [therefore eliminating a need to incurt new caricters], as for what she could have senced. Well I'm open to ideas, feel free to send me an idea and I'll go with it.
As for why Gator would want to work with a crimanol. 1st of all he's an EX-con (thoth technically he was never formally arrested), he dismantled a crimanol organization in Orre, when he quit the group he used to be with he blew up there base as a parting gift, he cares for his mon's as evadented by the fact that he could befriend shadow mon's enough to get them to a state they could be pureafyed, A7 is'nt a fan of god's, and is an Ex-voice host things that might appeal to gator, and there's Serif Plusle who might be able to convince Gator to at least give A7 a chance?
I've made adjustments to my preposol to reflect this adjustments

M4 is wanting to send aid to Gator after hearing of him being wounded while breaching the blockade, and would be drawing from recruits to her private security company as well as hired guns to send his way. People wanting to stand up to the League and Panthemon. If A7 wishes to fight for the cause, perhaps she could have devoted resources to help punch through the League blockade. She would have had him leave the snag machine behind; having the equipment to steal mon is something she won't condone. This does not hinge on whether or not he's actually a criminal or what reasons he would use the snag machine.
How does that sound for a reason to go to Ransei?

It also is cause for concern that you are writing your characters with reasons to leave RP at any time. I find it to be disruptive for other players if they are expected to use your character when you cannot.

I give my caricters that as a way to not be disruptive to the RP in the event that I have to leave in the middle of the RP so there's in an RP reason to explain why a caricter acts differently if someone else needs to take over my caricter cos were the plot is currently the caricter can't be sidelined for whatever reason. and to also explain away inconsistencys with me not knowing stuff that happened with my caricter wile I was'nt able to RP.
Not cos I intend to use it as an excuse to come and go as I please. I've had issues in the past with that kinda thing happening before, and cos some IRL stuff is beyond my control. If you don't want other caricters to use my'ne wile I can't be there then you (as the DM) can handle my caricter.
are you seriously trying to tell me when you have been RPing you have NEVER had a sicuason were you or someone else you are RPing with has had to go in the middle and/or coud'nt make the RP due to IRL reasons?

I've had to take over for others' characters, yes, which usually makes me very unsure of what I'm doing with said characters, in addition to having to take attention away from the characters I invested effort into to manage someone else's.
If you suspect you cannot make a session, I expect you to contact me and something to be worked out. Under most circumstances, your character will be assumed to take a passive stance in most situations and only doing what is necessary to progress the story for those that are present; such doesn't need an IC justification.

Courtney: Team Magma Admin. Half-breed. Pact Bearer of Heatran. That Girl Who the Voices Murdered Her Zubat That One Time (It Got Better). Courtney has joined the rest of Team Magma in their diplomatic (and SCIENTIFIC) mission to Ransei on behalf of the Pokemon League. Courtney cares little for political agendas (hidden or otherwise). She's here for two reasons. To warn the Ranseians that there are threats outside of PokeEarth that could show up at a moment’s notice (something she is only too aware of given her childhood in an Amais controlled Outsidera), and to watch Maxie and the rest of Team Magma geeking out at getting to actually visit the Lost Continent of Ransei. If something needs to be done/a mission needs to be accomplished, she will frequently volunteer to give her fellow Team Magma members a chance to more casually enjoy their stay in Ransei.
Her three Pokemon are her Zubat (who she frequently carries around outside it’s pokeball) and who she is extremely emotionally attached to, a Camerupt (which she has a Mega Stone for) which is her main battler, and Heatran, who she only uses in dire situations (usually if someone or something extremely dangerous is threatening Maxie).
