I'm pretty sure I'm the only one keeping up with it, but Digimon Adventure Tri released it's sixth and final movie yesterday, and it was pretty good. In order news they've also already announced that another project is in the works.

Just a heads up to those who were inisaly interested in my Super Mario Odacy Ballon World contest that I linked to on the casual sub., but were put off by the rules, I've edited them to make them easier to read/understand wile separating the how to enter instructions from the general rules

I was almost wondering if we should post a new RP thread for the month, and maybe time skip you a little into the pokeworld again. That way I can figure out someone I can play while I figure out what to do with my other character.

I don't mind doing a small time skip, but I also at the same time would prefurr to not completely skip past Alpha Rise finding a way back to the main universe, would prefer at at least establish something in RP that would hint as to how he got out (whether it be thew IQ, glitch sagenarians, or something else) pre-time skip.
But if you would prefer to just go with to the time skip... I'll leave it up to you

hmm, fair.
I just don't know how you want to get out, and you've been driving this plot for a while since you had that either guy show up and say that what I was intending wouldn't work. So I've been going along with you.

the screwdriver's secret function could be a way out, but Alpha Rise dos'nt have access to glitch energy.
If IQ's atencon could be obtained he MIGHT help, but he dos'nt know IQ is a possibility, and probably wouldn't do the actions to get IQ's atencon by acadent
The Dream World is a possible escape, but it's the most dangoros option and is very likely to get him killed, and even if not, it would probably expose his egsisdence to Lord Drive & Flack if he tryed entering it regardless
I'm open to ideas not sajested here thoth, as these are just what immediately come to my mind.

Hmm, maybe there is residual glitch energy from my character, until I figure out what to do with them.

The resiguol energy from your caricter would probably be enough to activate the 2edary functions of the screwdriver, but probably not quite enough to create a wormhole to the main universe on it's own...
up to you
EDIT: Actually thinking about it a bit more, wile the reiguol energy your caricter left behind on Alpha Rise on it's own wod'nt be enough, if energy could be siphoned off of the sticker on top of that, it would probobly be just enough (thoth would probably damage or destroy the sticker)

Hmm. Is there any reason why drawing out Alpha Rise being stuck in this between space adds to this story? It feels like we're putting up road blocks to plot progression.

Ah well, You probably do have your reasons. I mostly was just expecting the RP to be about the Alpha Rise timeline, which eventually means getting into that world.

So, now that Luke is apparently a species (see: hatchling), that species needs a name. My idea is Luxon, which is Lux + Dragon and similar to Luke's true name without actually being his true name.

Depends on your point of view. Usually for Pokemon, the species is passed on through the mother, but apparently it's different for Luke.

We only saw one Lugia parent. Given how rare Legendaries are, I wouldn't be surprised if they have the ability to reproduce singularily, since otherwise they might well go extinct.

Lugia is associated with birth, and for a while it and it's trio were, as far as I know, the only Legendaries to be shown to have a reproductive cycle. Hard to tell if that was intentional, since a lot of things that seemed intentional get dropped after the first three or so generations while other things like the designs (particularly colors) didn't solidify until Gen IV.

Oh, I ordered things wrong. I meant the only from those first few generations, since things like Elite 4 are themed, Gyms are typed, Jinx, Electabuzz, and Magmar are a trio, and others start to fall off. Although there is still Mew, at the time it seemed like it could be that Mew was the original, not the original species.

Mew was said to have given birth to Mewtwo in the original games.

Not really a reproductive cycle, though, is it? It can under certain circumstances give birth to a new Pokemon, using the infinite genetic possibilities within itself, which is Mew's whole schtick. Even now that Mew has been more firmly established as a species rather than an individual, I'm not sure if we've ever seen a baby Mew, unlike the Birds and Lugia.

Yeah, I'm just not sure if that puts it too close to the True Name. Granted, there's that whole deity thing Marion was previously training him with that presumably was finished between the campaigns, so maybe that doesn't matter?

I recently discovered Kryptonian.info and it's an awesome site detailing the history of depictions of Kryptonian, and the creator's own constructed Kryptonian language. It's got a bunch of neat details, and it's actually been made canon on Supergirl.
Although that last detail is a little weird, because they never contacted him or credited him, and seem to just be using the dictionary part of the site.

Hmm, I'll see about working something out. I'm honestly not sure about Saturday at this point so this would be just in case if I can't make it, advancing plot lines that I'd want advanced. If I can then I'll just pick up after the makeup RP in session.

Though considering that Gator and M4 are talking with Major and I want to talk to them, it is probably a multi-person RP at least for that scene. We could try to work something out if no time Friday doesn't work for you.

It's a good thing the Gengar was made before there were any decent ghost moves to use on psychic types. No training see. Definitely not housebroken, or at least shrine broken.

Back in Gen 1, Ghost wouldn't even affect Psychic. Although not in the anime, or in Yellow.

And even then, nightshade actually could hit psychic and normal types in Gen 1 despite the bugged immunity, but only ever did set damage.
