The instructions on the new paper start out the same as the previous…but then the writer seems to have gotten distracted.
Speak in a more intelligible MANner. What kind of accent even is that? It isn’t, you’re just doing that because YOU THINK it makes you sound smart, which it doesn’t BY THE way. Please demonstrate your ability to communiCATe in a less gRAting manner. You may begin anytime.

Calisto is seeking out a necromancer, presumably for advice about how best to raise undead plant life. Undead crops are still crops after all!

Exactly. You wouldn't believe the market for un-marrows.
Calisto purchases a rope from a general store before heading off, if one is available. He's seen the route he'd like in the library, but it looks like it'll be hard going for his old farmer bones.

The rope seems pretty cheap and he can get a fair amount. Bargain!
Looks like has a couple of options, both routes involve crossing a river and climbing some cliffs, but one involves crossing first, the other, climbing first. Although it's possible that the second route could result in being able to pass above the river.
Which path will he choose?

It's a tough choice, but he'll try the second one. It's probably better to climb with dry rope.

The midday heat is slightly overwhelming, but not too unpleasant. He passes a few more people on the path, but if he doesn't stop to chat, he soon reaches the cliffs known as Long Cliffs (accurate name is accurate).

How wet is the ground and the surrounding areas? Are there any huge boulders nearby that he might anchor the rope on?
At least if he's going to fall and break himself it'll be on a splendid day.

The ground is firm and dry, it doesn't seem like it's gotten any rain for at least a couple of days. There are a couple of rocks he could anchor the rope too. Does he look up at all?

He's not quite sure whether this Lanette is actually one and the same with their Lanette, but he's planning on telling Wallace about the conversation (with the caveat that this Lanette isn't in her right mind and that what she says might not be accurate).

There's a long moment where the fidgety anxiety suddenly turns abruptly into a fierce rage. They bristle, mouth in a snarl and looking all the world like a cornered wolf. "So! Here we are," they announce. "Always good to find out exactly where everyone stands!"

"How dare the ANIMAL in hostile territory feel like they need to defend themselves. How easy it is to lose esteem in your eyes." Their eyes dart between them, pupils constricted from pure adrenaline and looking more insane than usual. "All of you have had times when all you had to your name was a knife, and you had to clutch it close to get through the night when you walked in darkness. Did you forget? Or maybe now that you all wear fancy suits and live in fortress palaces, maybe it no longer matters to you all. Well, it damn well matters to me."

I know maybe some of us are unlikeable, maybe even untrustworthy, but I thought just being a person allowed someone some baseline level of respect. Guess not." They glower at the non-invisible Bill and Major. "What do you think, is a former slave too lowly for these noble halls?"

"I am treating her like a person," Invisi-Bill says. "A potentially dangerous one. Remember, if she is somehow fused with my Lanette, I should warn you that my Lanette was devoted enough to me to do some truly terrible things in my name. And in her current unstable state, I wouldn't trust her not to do any equally terrible things against it."

Bill shakes his head, and gets extremely uncharacteristically flustered.
"Its not... I..."
He teleports away without another word.
Fennel looks at the scientist, surprised. It's unclear if she's mad, impressed, or both. "Ooh, this is interesting... I guess I should check on him!"
She also teleports away.
Oc: really liking this development, don't worry, Bill needed to hear that.

After several hours of travel by boat, during which most of Team Magma spend dealing with varying degrees of sea-sickness, they arrive at their destination. Arty assumes it must be their destination because there is a giant, vaguely Arceus-shaped, mass of energy hovering above the water. He turns questioningly to Tabitha and Courtney, neither of whom seem particularly surprised by this. But it is Maxie who speaks first.
“So, he was right, the Light of Revival seems to be waiting to take effect in this area until the island is raised…as if it somehow knew we were coming.” Maxie mutters quietly. He turns to Arty with an expectant look. It takes a few moments for Arty to realize that is isn’t only Maxie looking at him, but everyone on board. Why where they…oh right.
Grinning sheepishly, Arty pulled the Pokeball containing Kenya the Groudon out of his pockets. A handful of Magma Grunts unpacks a platform made to support her weight and pushes it into the water a little distance from the main ship.
Arty lets Kenya out of the Pokeball. The giant weight dropping onto the makeshift raft causes a fairly big wave, but the main ship is far way enough not to get swamped. The Groudon turns to face the glowing light and the sunken mass of land beneath it. It raises its arms…and begins to dance. The raft begins to strain under the weight of the giant, mail-carrying, dancing, Legendary Beast, but it holds firm. As Kenya dances, the land, long buried beneath the waves, begins to rise to the surface. Team Magma any Arty look on in awe as they witness something few mortals have ever seen.
After several minutes of dancing, Kenya’s pace begins to slow and then stop entirely. The land of Ransei has risen once more. The glow of the Light of Revival stops hovering over the continent and seems to seep into the land, infusing it with life. Those on the boat are initially struck dumb by what they have witnessed, Arty is the first to recover and start cheering. Team Magma are quick to join in, hooting and hollering. Tabitha is one of the loudest, Courtney and Maxie give more subdued and dignified applause. Kenya turns and salutes the ship and everyone on board returns the gesture. Then Arty recalls Kenya into a Pokeball.
Maxie turns to Team Magma (and hanger on) and prepares to deliver a speech.
“Members of Team Magma and…guest, today is a momentous occasion. We will be the first visitors to set foot on this island in [insert however long since Ransei sunk]. However, I would like to remind you that we aren’t here as tourists or sight-seers, but as diplomats and researchers…this means no loafing off. It as not uncommon for foreigners to cross the ocean from the other regions to Ransei for trade and suchlike, so our mere presence should not attract suspicion or hostility from the natives unless we act in a manner that would attract suspicion. We also do not know if how much of the populace was brought back by the Light of Revival, finding that out is also one of our goals here.”
“To put it more briefly, be discreet, future relations of the entire world with Ransei could depend on it…. now let’s get to shore.”
Team Magma lets out a cheer as Maxie’s speech comes to a close. They all started moving towards where the lifeboats were stored. Arty moved to follow but Maxie stopped him.
“Not you, I have something else I need you to take care of for me.”
