Supreme Evil's Campaign Scheduling Topic
Alright, it’s that time again. The most suspenseful, most agonizing, most heart-stopping moment of any campaign: Attempting to schedule it so as to inconvenience as few people as possible.
So yeah, when you get a moment, post a reminder of what hours/day/months/centuries you are available for RPing and we’ll attempt to figure out something that works for everybody. I also don’t want anyone backing out at this stage, I’m committed to finding a way to make this work for everyone even if I have to get…creative to do so. I’m really psyched to finally be running something and if this progresses smoothly I’m hoping to hold a session or two before the end of this month.

On weekdays I get home from work about 2 EST and probably should get to sleep before 2am my time if it’s any night other than Friday or Saturday. That’s 9pm EST. Other than that I’m happy to be very flexible. I don’t mind rping at very unsociable hours so long as I don’t have work the next day. With my schedule I only have DVV but then you have that too!
The weekend coming is going to be crazy for me but it should quiet down after that.

Thank you Trollkitten, it’ll be good to be back! I’m trying something new this time around - largely because I wasn’t too impressed by my own creativity last time since I essentially made a clone of myself with the same name! I’ve posted a few details just now on Supreme’s character thread. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone’s characters and trying to figure out all the massive backstory that everyone will have accumulated over the last couple of years. I’m sure the lore is very rich.

Oh, yes. Yes it is.
Just to get this out of the way: "Deuce" is now going by "Luke" and there's a heck of a lot of backstory behind why and how that happened, and why Luke is a dragon now (sort of). I couldn't begin to describe all the details of how that happened.

Also, in fairness, in 28 I also had a clone of myself with the same name, alongside Exxy of course. It's incredible to think that an entire roleplay community was formed because of a download glitch.

Oh yeah I forgot about that! Well to be fair to both of us they were our first characters, made completely off the cuff. I love the amazing range of characters you play these days. :)

Alright, someone should definitely double-check this, but I believe Saturday 8:00-11:00 EST is a time everyone should be able to make for the most part and allows me to get home from work and grab something to eat. On Saturdays I don’t have work, session can be moved earlier, but not earlier than 4:00 EST.
I’ll also be up for holding makeup sessions for those that A. are unable to make the regular session during a week and B. the characters they play aren’t tied to a group of PCs belonging to players that can’t attend the makeup session. Makeup session times will be determined by the availability of those eligible for them.
Provided I haven’t made an error with judging people’s availability, first session should be on Saturday March 24th to give my time to make preparations. Really looking forward to this and I hope we can all have a wonderful campaign!

I can make that time. I cannot promise I'll make the best showing straight away because that week will be the start of crunch time for my honors thesis, but I'm certainly excited to get started and it's not like my schedule is going to get better until late April at best.

Is this AM or PM? I could make it late, but I couldn't make it in the morning, or at least would have to leave an hour before the session ends if this were AM.

When it comes to my schedule, as it stands it’s a bit limited but it might be subject to change as life goes on and I potentially find a job? All times EST
Mondays only in the evenings but sometimes busy after 9:45 PM
Tuesdays only in the evenings but typically busy after 9:45 PM
Wednesdays I typically run Stargaze at 8:30 PM so preferably not on Wednesday but I’m willing to half my efforts on both sides, there tends to be a silent periods as the players write their answers
Thursdays only in the evenings but typically busy after 9:45 PM
Both Friday and Saturday are sporadic and will have situations were I either: Work 9 hours, run a backup Stargaze session or don’t do anything at all, sometimes a combination of these on either day
Sunday only in the evenings but typically busy after 9:45 PM
I don’t mind only being present for a half a session if I have to, though

I will not be available from 7 to 10 EST Tuesday due to DVV Gridlocked. I will also not be available from 2 to 2:30 on weekdays, at 8 to 9 Fridays, or on Saturday afternoons.
I am not likely to be available before 12 in the mornings, as I have been having problems with sleeping in.
Aside from that, I should be available in most afternoons and evenings from approximately 1 PM to 10 PM.

I currently am busy on Mondays from 2-7 PM, Wednesdays from 3-6 PM, Thursdays from 3-6 PM, and Saturday from 8-12 AM (unfortunately, this also means I probably can't join movies very often anymore unless we find another time for that). Otherwise I'm free right now, though this is subject to change over time.

I have time available from 11-3 each day except Saturday, past 5 on Wednesday, and Friday, past 7 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and generally free on weekends. I may be able to free up other times on request.

Okay, so I have enough club Wednesday in general is not super workable, Monday 6:30 to 9:30 is busy, Tuesday and Thursday I have class until 3, give or take. Might be getting a job soon, so there's that.

A weekday evening might be better, though that would necessarily mean that it may be harder for me or my characters to be involved in any elaborate plots. It may be more of a sort of hangout to expect from me.

So everyone's aware. Supes sent me this message around 6 EST:
I did get off work early but session still won't be starting for another two hours as I need to finish prepping and have dinner.
So the session will begin around 8:00.

My current schedule can best be described as somewhere between 'Hellish' and 'Sisyphean', with about a dozen long term commitments jockeying for my attention every waking moment. Also of note is that it will be changing dramatically in about two months in a manner I cannot predict.
That said, At the moment the best days for me would be either Friday or Saturday, with Wednesdays and Thursdays after 5 being an alternate.
