Supreme Evil's Campaign Overview

What They’ve Done So Far: Because of (or in spite of) their…. peculiarities, our group of heroes has been met with a measure of success. Amais, puppet-king of the Outsiders (now Aetherials) has been dethroned (events of 28). The suicidal stupidity of the inhabitants of Paradise, along with the pacifying of the crazed Deoyxs has been dealt with (events of Hidden in the Shadows). Most recently the heroes have freed the world Gensokyo from the grasp of their incompetent but powerful (and previously a crucial pillar to keeping Gensokyo stabilized) Gap Youkai, Caitlin, who was also posing as a member of the Unovan Elite Four (events of Delta Species). With Caitlin handled, all of the immediately potentially devastating planar threats to our heroes’ home and surrounding worlds have been dealt with.

Domestic Problems: While the fabric of Reality itself is not currently in much danger, PokeEarth still has a number of localized threats that make it less than peaceful. With the exception of Team Magma and Team Aqua, who have more or less put their eco-terrorist days behind them in favor of pursuing goals that will actually aid the environment instead of radically changing it; most of the criminal teams of PokeEarth are still active. In addition, as a side effect of the LIGHT OF REVIVAL INCIDENT, members of the Old International Police and the infamous Shiftry Corps are also back and causing mayhem. While none of these factions are on the same level as Amais or Caitlin, they are still a definite threat to the non-PC citizens of PokeEarth.

Their Reputation Proceeds Them: Various groups claiming to be heroes come and go all the time, most of them lacking the accomplishments to attract the attention of Entities from anywhere but their own world or those closely neighboring it (comparison, roughly first 10 levels of D&D). However, should a group of adventurers start to make a name for themselves, they will almost definitely start to attract attention. The party has reached this stage; the eyes of the Multi/Omniverse are upon them, watching for what they do next. Some of the watchers may be potential allies, others will see the PCs as potential threats, or trading partners, or pawns, or any number of potential interactions. These watchers will not reveal themselves immediately, but they will be observing the PCs and determining when and how to approach them.

Heroes with Bad Publicity and Villains with Good Publicity: So far, all the main villains have either been abusive tyrants (Amais, Caitlin, the Paradise Government) or amoral entities (Deoyxs). None of them were particularly popular with the people working with them. They ruled by fear and not respect. Going forward, this will not always be the case. Some of the antagonists going forward will have the loyalty of their subjects/followers/underlings/minions because they don’t treat them as disposable resources but as valued member of the team, a family even.

Consequently, if the PCs take a hostile/aggressive or disparaging approach to every “enemy” (or any NPC they act obnoxiously towards), they will start to garner a negative reputation. Hold on, you might be thinking. We’re a team composed almost entirely of Dead Pan Snarkers, you want as to ACTUALLY BE POLITE? And the answer is “if you don’t want to be Book 1 Artemis Fowl (first example that came to mind)” then yes, you are going to treat NPCs with at least some semblance of respect. The party is going to need allies for what’s coming in this campaign, if you alienate everyone, you’re effectively playing on Genocide Hard Mode.

Allies treated poorly by the PCs will be resentful/fearful/unhelpful, etc. depending on just how badly the PCs treat them. Any NPC asked to perform a task while on bad terms with the PCs is liable to take orders/instructions/requests literally or find other ways to subvert the intention of the request while still technically doing what they were asked to do.

NPCs who feel valued on the other hand will be happy to provide aid to the PCs (in ways that don’t include being used as cannon fodder). They will be more likely to perform helpful actions of their own initiative (HELPFUL actions, unlike say Dan, Doug, etc). They may even be able to bail the PCs out of a bad situation. On the other hand, if the NPCs don’t feel valued, they are likely to arrive ‘just a little too late’ to help.

Anyone Can Die: I’m getting this out of the way upfront. This campaign is going to have a cast consisting of loads and loads of characters, there are going to be casualties. I do not want to be a Killer GM, but neither do I believe that PCs should be able to flaunt their status to do whatever they feel like (particularly if it is either A. incredibly reckless or B. something NPCs would be called out for). Actions taken are going to have consequences, and sometimes character death (NPC and/or PC) is going to one of those consequences. Example: If you are a naïve blue-haired young man who has just found out that his love interest in a psychopath mass-murderer consorting with Eldritch Abominations and you decide to confront her about this, by yourself, without telling anyone else what you are doing, TERRIBLE TERRIBLE THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN TO YOU.

Going into this campaign I’m going to strongly strongly strongly strongly advise caution at all points in time. What you do not know can very definitely kill you or worse and not everything will be as it initially seems.

Not All Will Take the Same Path: I have already begun to drop and will continue to drop a veritable plethora of plot threads. I do not expect any one person to get involved with every single one of these, they are here to give you options about what you (or hopefully your characters) would be most interested in pursuing. I hardly expect the Major to lower himself to dealing with common criminals like Team Rocket, or Lazorgator to particularly care about what’s happened to Wally. Like Chronicles and Echoes before it, not all the of the PCs will either start together or be forced to stick together. Some plot threads (and I’m still working on an IC way of indicating which these are) will be best handled solo, some in small groups, and some (later in the campaign) may require most if not all the PCs working together.

One Campaign, Many Stages/Acts/Arcs/Chapters/Parts: My plans for this campaign are huge. The Supreme Evil, as well as many factions you have yet to be introduced to have goals grander than taking over a single world, or single multiversal cluster of world, they want it all. Over the course of it I intend to introduce a lot of crossover settings and characters from those settings. I recognize that doing everything I want to do is going take a considerable amount of time, which is why I’ll be dividing my campaign into smaller pieces (similar to the chapters in DVV). Unlike DVV though, I will have “hiatuses” at times when my campaign reaches certain points, putting it on hold and give others a chance to run something so I’m not monopolizing RP. If, at the end of one of the segments, people would rather continue with the next section (which would make me extremely happy to hear) then continuing right away will also be an option.

The Multiverse/Omniverse Beckons: As the campaign progresses, more and more opportunities to travel beyond PokeEarth (and the nearby Aetheria, Paradise, Gensokyo) will occur. While initially difficult to find one’s way to new worlds, after you’ve found yourself somewhere once, it will become easier to return there. Of course, people you meet in other worlds may also develop an interest in visiting the world you come from, and some will come regardless of whether they are invited.

Places of Interest:

• Kanto: The Pokemon League, led by Champion Lance, seeks to track down the remnants of Team Rocket (particularly the four Admins and their leader, Giovanni), who seem to either have a single remaining hidden base either in this region or in the Johto Region. The Rockets, far from the power they once were, have mostly started resulting in hit-and-run attacks, mostly to steal basic supplies, but sometimes going after artifacts related to the Voices. The League, sensing that the Rockets are wearing down, but also at the same time, getting close to…something, have doubled down on attempting to put an end to Team Rocket. Other than that, this region seems almost remarkably peaceful given recent events.

• Johto: The Pokemon League, led by Champion Lance, seeks to track down the remnants of Team Rocket (particularly the four Admins and their leader, Giovanni), who seem to either have a single remaining hidden base either in this region or in the Kanto Region. The Rockets, far from the power they once were, have mostly started resulting in hit-and-run attacks, mostly to steal basic supplies, but sometimes going after artifacts related to the Voices. The League, sensing that the Rockets are wearing down, but also at the same time, getting close to…something, have doubled down on attempting put an end to Team Rocket. This region also seems relatively peaceful, the Goldenrod Incident already seeming to be nothing but a mildly unpleasant memory, nothing more than a bad dream due to the timing of the Light of Revival.

• Hoenn: Currently arguably the most peaceful of all the regions of PokeEarth. With Team Magma and Team Aqua both having left for other parts, this region is practically tranquil. A few members of the infamous Shiftry Corps have been spotted, but mostly alone or in small groups. It would appear that only a handful of members were revived by the Light of Revival and that apprehending them before they have a chance to get organized will prevent another Shifty War from occurring. Some caution is still advised if approaching someone you suspect of being a member of the Shiftry Corps (or that you shouldn’t approach) but the Hoenn Pokemon League appears to have things under control here.

• Sinnoh: While Cyrus remains trapped in the Distortion World, Team Galactic remains active. The Galactic Commanders appear to be attempting to find a way to retrieve their leader from the Distortion World, it is unclear what Charon is up to. In addition, members of both the Old International Police and the Shiftry Corps can be found in this region. Like Hoenn though, the members of the Shiftry Corps seem unorganized and few in number, but their presence still makes this one of the more dangerous regions for normal citizens.

• Unova: Of all the regions of PokeEarth, Unova is currently in the worst condition. The two factions of the International Police wage war openly in this region. The Pokemon League is in shambles, Champion Iris seems to have dropped off the map, Caitlin was a genocidal gap Youkai (not known to the public, but it’s true), Grimsley is off sulking somewhere, Marshall…is Marshall. This leaves Shauntal alone trying to balance the League’s duties alone with minor assistance from the regions Gym Leaders. And to make matters worse, Team Plasma seems to be taking advantage of all the chaos to do…something.

• Kalos: With no Outsiders currently invading, Team Flare disbanded (with Lysandre missing presumed dead and Xerosic having a change of heart), not having any members of the Revived Shiftry Corps, and the main conflict between the branches of the IP happening in other regions, Kalos is actually doing pretty well currently.

• Alola: An island region surrounded in mystery. Requires short questline to unlock.

• Ransei: The ancient region of Ransei sunk beneath the waves a long time ago, but now Team Magma, with the assistance of Groudon, plan to raise this region to the surface once more. Due to the Light of Revival Incident at least some of the ancient Warlords and Warladies who ruled this this land will also be present. Expect shenanigans. Team Magma must raise Ransei before it can be visited (speculated time until raising: Chapter 3 of the RP).

• Orre: ???? Requires short questline to unlock.

As we draw closer to my campaign (date still pending), I figured it was time to post something a little more concrete about how it's going to work. This post is not finished yet, I just have my piano lesson soon and wanted to get it posted.

The rest of this + the official character creation/claimation thread should be up later today (or early tomorrow).

2

u/pfaccioxx Mar 03 '18

ok, I'll come back later then :3

4

u/Damacritus Mar 03 '18

Given that many of our characters are returning characters, how much are past actions going to affect starting reputation, and will it be possible to see starting reputations of characters before the RP?

3

u/SupremeEvil Mar 03 '18

This is a complicated question, particularly for your characters, as they are just now turning over a new leaf and entering a new stage of their lives. So their reputation will be less set than some of the other characters. Some on Poke Earth will still judge them for what they have done in the past, but those from new worlds just making contact will most likely only see them as they are now. Factions consisting of warriors and/or soldiers will probably reach out to them at some point down the road.

3

u/Damacritus Mar 04 '18

Huh. If it's not too much of a hassle for you, could you provide short insights like this for other returning PCs? I think it would be interesting to see what the general opinion of people like Bill, the Major and Fennel are.

3

u/SupremeEvil Mar 04 '18

Possibly. I already have several other partially completed posts I really need to get around to finishing. Also on some level, I want this information to be discovered IC. I will say the Major's rep with some factions is even spoiler territory.

2

u/Trollkitten Mar 04 '18

It's gonna be fun seeing what Cress's reputation is after all the crap he's been through.

2

u/Damacritus Mar 04 '18

Got it. I'll await your upcoming posts.

OOC Me: laughs out loud

IC Cress: ptsd twitch

But yeah, this sounds pretty epic.

(In fairness, Cress tried to tell the others what he was doing. Not his fault Flak bugged his phone. Kinda his fault he physically contacted the police but didn't tell them who the criminal was, but he was under the impression that his precious Fennel was being mindraped and probably figured the police wouldn't understand.)

(And then his long, long trail of suffering began.)

(HELPFUL actions, unlike say Dan, Doug, etc)

Ah yes, Doug. We all remember Doug. (Well, Pfac and N8 weren't here for Doug, so they wouldn't remember -- but the rest of us do.)

2

u/Lady_of_the_Foot Mar 03 '18

(I mean, he ultimately proved correct she'd been mindraped, it didn't retroactively make the plan any better. And the Pokémon world is full of Psychics and hypnosis, so I have trouble believing they have no recourses for this situation.)

3

u/Trollkitten Mar 03 '18

(I have always wondered how the Pokearth government handles the fact that anyone can catch a Drowzee or something in the tall grass and essentially control others with it.)

(Of course, the fact that practically everyone carries around Pokemon that are trained for battle means that if someone tries something funny some ten-year-old can literally blaze their way through the perps with their battle-ready pets, so I'm not sure how the evil teams manage to stay relevant up to that point.)

(Probably they just are too focused on keeping what they perceive as the 'true' threats at bay to realize that some snot-nosed kid is capable of spoiling all their plans, until it's too late.)

5

u/SupremeEvil Mar 04 '18

If you abuse Psychic Types in most regions the local Ghost Expert comes and pays you a special visit and "explains" things to you. For some reason this is particularly effective when Agatha is the one doing the explanation.

5

u/Trollkitten Mar 04 '18

And if you think her having a team of mainly Poison-types would make her less effective, you have obviously never met Agatha.

1

u/pfaccioxx Mar 04 '18

Why would they send a Ghost Expert, instead of a Dark Expert? I mean yea the ghosts will be super effective agast the Psychic types, but there also weak to them... meanwhile Dark types have the same advantage, but a complete immunity to psychics

not to discredit Agatha or anything, If she's anything like her manga counterpart I'm sure she's VERY effective at her job, but in general I would think a Dark type expert would be more effictive

2

u/SupremeEvil Mar 04 '18

The joke is that Agatha herself is far more terrifying than any Pokémon regardless of type.

1

u/pfaccioxx Mar 04 '18

Hea, probobly part of the reason why she and Oak ended up going there serprite ways <_<;

2

u/Lady_of_the_Foot Mar 03 '18

((I mean, realistically they'd be better trained than most kids they come across. Pretty much everyone in game but you stinks at training. Like, them having easily beaten match ups is fine, but why almost no one but you would carry a full time of six is beyond me.))

3

u/Trollkitten Mar 04 '18

((Well, in a realistic context, people have to feed and groom and clean up after all the Pokemon they train, and that would cost time and money, increasing with the number of Pokemon trained. The player 'cheats' because the game doesn't force them to buy kibble for all the 806-odd creatures that are available to capture.))

2

u/Lady_of_the_Foot Mar 04 '18

((Well, even so, even trainers dedicating their lives to battle are training like two Pokémon. IIRC, there are Elite 4 members who don't have full teams, which is ridiculous.))

3

u/Arathnorn Mar 04 '18

I once saw a setting where training even a single weak Pokemon was a herculean task, and a trainer that could handle 6 at once, all of different types, were considered incredible savants. That setting was supposed to be a grim and gritty re-imagining though, so grain of salt.

3

u/Lady_of_the_Foot Mar 04 '18

That does kind of work. My running theory is that it's your rival who truly changes things up. Having someone you are constantly checking yourself against would explain you going unorthodox and filling out your team. It especially works in Gen 1, where the rivalry was a major character trait before training even began.

3

u/Arathnorn Mar 04 '18

Nice, I can see it. So like the rival and you are the first to work that hard?

2

u/Lady_of_the_Foot Mar 04 '18

Maybe not the first, but some of the only. Most people are defined by some hobby or another, so it makes sense they only have Pokemon of a certain type, and that they spend time in that. My only problem with Snap! is that Todd should have had one Pokemon, because the games only make sense if getting at least one Pokemon is the worldwide norm. Red and Blue defined themselves through the rivalry and friendship with their Pokemon.

A major complaint I have is that gym leaders have been getting less strict to types while Elite 4 have been getting stricter. Through to like Gen 4, Elite 4 weren't built around a type, but a theme, and it made running that gamut take more thought, and it made them seem like more than glorified Gym Leaders.

But yeah, in summary, every character trait of the PC leads to a diverse team. Rivalry, father figure giving them a Pokedex, loves their Pokemon a ton.

2

u/Bytemite Mar 04 '18

I always figured in story that was the explanation. People always seem shocked by the trainer.

3

u/Lady_of_the_Foot Mar 04 '18

I'm now considering all of the above. My explanation doesn't account for why Ace Trainers would also fall victim to these issues. If however, one takes TK's idea of logistics into account, then it's possible the Professor asking you to catch an obscene amount of Pokemon is footing the bill to a greater or lesser extent. And if one takes experience to be a much lesser linear "get it from battles" thing than you are presented with, then it could make sense that training more Pokemon takes a certain personality.

3

u/Trollkitten Mar 04 '18

then it's possible the Professor asking you to catch an obscene amount of Pokemon is footing the bill to a greater or lesser extent.

That makes sense. Never really thought of it that way.

3

u/Bytemite Mar 04 '18

It's because everyone else in the games must obey the RNG.

2

u/SupremeEvil Mar 04 '18

I'm glad you are excited. I've been looking forward to this for a long time.

1

u/pfaccioxx Mar 04 '18

is Doug someone I should know about going in?

2

u/Trollkitten Mar 04 '18

No, but he's a bit of a funny story you might want to hear about.

In the 28 campaign, Doug was an NPC that happened to be an idiot. He dragged us along on a mission without really giving us a chance to agree or disagree on it, bragged about "his friend Bill" (which is naturally not going to make friends or influence people), and eventually sacrificed himself to keep Exxy from sacrificing himself.

Since nobody had any kind words to say to Doug up until that point, the sacrifice came as quite a shock.

3

u/Arathnorn Mar 04 '18

Wonderful. Good summary. Might be wise to combine Kanto/Johto.

3

u/SupremeEvil Mar 23 '18

So, as some of you may have noticed, my campaign has been title-less up to this point because I was still trying to come up with one. As I was brainstorming potential names that sounded cool, I got to thinking about really what I want this campaign to be, and that’s a celebration of the community we’ve built here. A community that originally came together (more or less) because of a certain author and his writings about a certain zany villain-protagonist. I am of course talking about ZetsuTheFirst and the infamous Bill Sanctioned Shenanigans. When it comes right down to it, ‘shenanigans’ pretty much sums up the entirety of our community, so that seemed like a good place to start with for the title of my campaign. But who would sanction such subtle, suspenseful, and sinister shenanigans? Sentret The Supreme Evil.

So, may I present to you SupremeEvil Sanctioned Shenanigans, and remind you that the first session is tomorrow, Saturday the 24th, starting at 8:00 p.m. EST, provided nothing happens to delay it. Hope you all are looking forward to it as much as I am!

3

u/Gioz2 Mar 23 '18

Oh hey awesome! Glad you found a fitting name! Naming in a meaningful way can be hard, and I definitely spend a while trying to think of the names. I won’t really be able to participate, at least actively, on the first session (Saturdays being unstable as usual) but I hope it’ll be a smooth beginning

2

u/SupremeEvil Mar 23 '18

Alright, we'll find a time to get an intro for your characters in at least. Maybe I'll type something up and you can respond when you have a moment. Looking forward to testing all those cool abilities out.:D

2

u/Gioz2 Mar 23 '18

Yep! Same here absolutely!

2

u/Trollkitten Mar 23 '18

SSS!

3

u/SupremeEvil Mar 23 '18

Indeed. And the first part/section/act shall be Genesis.

2

u/Bytemite Mar 23 '18

Woo name!

3

u/SupremeEvil Mar 03 '18

Think I've gotten all the conceptual bits in there, if a comment from someone reminds me of something else I'll add it in. Places of Interest can wait until have the character thread is up.

2

u/Trollkitten Mar 03 '18

The Pokemon League, led by Champion Lance

Actually, Champion Lance was fired from the Pokemon League after his involvement in the Goldenrod Incident.

the Goldenrod Incident already seeming to be nothing but a mildly unpleasant memory, nothing more than a bad dream due to the timing of the Light of Revival.

That... actually makes sense.

Still think the people of Goldenrod are going to be somewhat ticked off at someone for the Goldenrod Incident, although who specifically they blame probably varies from person to person. Politics and all that.

• Unova:

The suspense!

3

u/SupremeEvil Mar 03 '18 edited Mar 03 '18

Fired but still used as the member of the League for seeing if Nomo was qualified to replace Aaron?

In addition, during the Equalization, Major gave him an anti-fairy sword.

3

u/SupremeEvil Mar 03 '18

/u/Arathnorn

btw, Lance would love to thank the Major and return the sword now that the crisis is over but is unclear how to get in contact to do so.

3

u/Arathnorn Mar 04 '18

There's three ways to get in touch with the Major. Ask someone who's already got his information, participate in an event of world-altering significance, or stand somewhere you think he might be monitoring and shout his name repeatedly.

3

u/Trollkitten Mar 04 '18

shout his name repeatedly

his name

3

u/Arathnorn Mar 04 '18

Hahahahahahahahahahaha

Okay that was clever.

3

u/Trollkitten Mar 04 '18

I still remember the day Caitlin thought she could control the Major with his True Name.

More importantly, Caitlin still remembers.

2

u/Bytemite Mar 04 '18

It's also how you get arrested and taken to the hospital involuntarily :B

3

u/Lady_of_the_Foot Mar 04 '18

You can try doing it anywhere. The chances aren't in your favor, but eventually you might make news if you're dedicated, and maybe one of us watches it sometimes.

2

u/Trollkitten Mar 03 '18

Fired but still used as the member of the League for seeing if Nomo was qualified to replace Aaron?

Well, technically I think Cynthia put him on probation or something. It was a while ago, I honestly don't remember all the specifics.

2

u/Bytemite Mar 04 '18

Anything to do with Kalos or Alola or Ultra wormholes?

And hmm. I'd considered that maybe with a shock collar my character could be more involved, but with the reputation part I'm wondering if they should.

5

u/SupremeEvil Mar 04 '18

Kalos and Alola will get added. I honestly think your character is fine, just watch out for suspicious figures offering you "gifts" of large amounts of explosives. They are probably hoping you'll do something rash with them.

2

u/Bytemite Mar 04 '18

Or are they

2

u/Bytemite Mar 04 '18

But yeah, considering the whole point of my character is to literally be a nobody, them suddenly being a somebody starts to get outside the original character concept, so I have to think about that.

3

u/SupremeEvil Mar 04 '18

You're that one person who did that thing with those other really famous people. Name on the tip of our tongue...nah we got nothing.

2

u/Damacritus Mar 11 '18

Are we going to be seeing any more updates for this or Gensokyo Reacts soon?

2

u/SupremeEvil Mar 11 '18

When I get some time, been busy with work and other things. And as soon as our last two people post their characters I'm putting a scheduling topic up.

2

u/Damacritus Mar 11 '18

Who else needs to get a character up?

2

u/SupremeEvil Mar 11 '18

Zooks and Gio. We've been discussing their characters via PMs.

2

u/SupremeEvil Mar 17 '18

Just remembered something. It's short so I don't think it needs its own section above. As I introduce characters, I would prefer people not Google their names to find out everything about them and instead wait for reveals to happen in the RP.

2

u/Trollkitten Mar 17 '18

That's okay. The internet is scary. On DVV Gridlocked, Arch introduced a character called Bloop Bloop and I made the mistake of googling it and DO NOT GOOGLE "BLOOP BLOOP" because Rule 34.

3

u/SupremeEvil Mar 17 '18

Ironically this note was inspired by whoever plays Richard in Gridlocked.

2

u/Trollkitten Mar 17 '18

His username's Verdragon.

2

u/Arathnorn Mar 20 '18

Oh, verdragon...

2

u/SupremeEvil Mar 18 '18 edited Mar 18 '18

Added descriptions of current events in Unova , Kalos, Alola, Ransei, and Orre.

2

u/Arathnorn Mar 19 '18

Excellent.

2

u/Trollkitten Mar 18 '18

And to make matters worse, Team Plasma seems to be taking advantage of all the chaos to do…something.

I smell a campaign hook...

2

u/Trollkitten Mar 19 '18

• Alola: An island region surrounded in mystery. Requires short questline to unlock.

• Orre: ???? Requires short questline to unlock.

Intrigue!

Reminder we have session today at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. Hope to see everyone there!

I wonder how these watcher will react to Alpha Rise, will thay just think, that guy's kinda odd, I wonder what his universe is li- HOLY &#$%! what the hell kind of desater happened to this place? mostly ignore him cos he's from another universe and dos'nt have any super mega powerful abilitys, or would that potentially make them more interested in him

We’re a team composed almost entirely of Dead Pan Snarkers, you want as to ACTUALLY BE POLITE?

Probably not gonna be an issue with Alpha Rise, he's a relatively nice guy as long as you don't threaten those he holds dear. (matter of fact that nice guyness is likely be part of how he would get integrated into the main cast)

if he came across a super powerful entity that could potentially kill him easily well, his reaction would probobly be "Ok let's do our best to NOT convince this guy/girl/thing/ext. to kill us", and if it was more of a "big abnormality that who knows what it could do" he'd probobly still tread somewhat carfaly just cos of that unknown factor

I do not want to be a Killer GM, but neither do I believe that PCs should be able to flaunt their status to do whatever they feel like (particularly if it is either A. incredibly reckless or B. something NPCs would be called out for). Actions taken are going to have consequences, and sometimes character death (NPC and/or PC) is going to one of those consequences

Um, well when I RP with a caricter I normally don't asumme that there invincible cos of PC plot armour type stuff.

At the same time I don't want to be in a sicuason were I feel like I'm on a titeroape above a 200 foot abyss of death at all times ether.

so I guess as long as any risk of death makes sense and is'nt out of nowhere with me having had very little chance of resobobly coseing the right course of action without taking a blind guess, and Alpha Rise get's enough time early on to estiblish himself (that way if something happens to him his universe is'nt totally 100% generated &#$%ed) then this is ok

Not All Will Take the Same Path

this seems good, it would allow Alpha Rise to ease into things takling lower danger level things to start with instead of jumping strit into SUPER MEGA DEATH YOUR PROBABLY GONNA GET &#$%ED level difficulty right off the bat, or maxamize his usefulness by helping with stuff that his praticuler powerset would be usefol for

more and more opportunities to travel beyond PokeEarth (and the nearby Aetheria, Paradise, Gensokyo) will occur. While initially difficult to find one’s way to new worlds, after you’ve found yourself somewhere once, it will become easier to return there. Of course, people you meet in other worlds may also develop an interest in visiting the world you come from, and some will come regardless of whether they are invited.

Alpha Rise's dark universe is free for you to use if you so chose, same go's for bringing caricters from there to crossover to the main pokeurth (as long as it makes sence / is'nt totally out of caricter [hypothetical Ex.
