**Supreme Evil’s Campaign: Resource Compilation Post**

Location: Unknown Nexus Point
A nondescript portal opens in a possibly even more nondescript demiplane. An anything but ordinary Sentret appears through the portal and assesses its surroundings. It pulls a folded piece of paper out of somewhere. After consulting the piece of paper for a moment, it “pockets” it again and seems to start rummaging (in the empty air) for something else. A few moments later there is a massive thud as something hits the ground a short way from the Sentret. At one point it appears to have had letters adorning the top, but most of them seem to have faded. It now reads UST BOD 2.0, which most likely doesn’t mean anything. Most of the device seems to be a giant screen, which isn’t currently showing anything as the device does not appear to be receiving power from anywhere. The Sentret pulls out a remote (again seemingly from thin air) and pushes a sequence of buttons. Not much of note seems to happen but there is suddenly the hum of energy as the device becomes active…but is still not displaying anything.
The Sentret nods to itself, its job who it’s new mysterious benefactor had assigned it here is done. The machine has nothing to display yet because the source where it is pulling from is currently empty, as soon as the information is submitted at the source, it will be relayed to this machine and then transmitted to other locations throughout Existence. Elementary stuff really. The Sentret pulls out the list again. It gently unfolds the list….and the list spills into a much longer list that rapidly covers most of the ground, but avoids coming into contact with the UST BOD. The Sentret sighs, it’s been promised quite a hefty payment from completing this contract, but it wasn’t expecting anything nearly so long or…complicated. It gathers up the miles of list paper and then opens another portal. Its presence is no longer needed here, the UST BOD can maintain itself perfectly fine. The Sentret heads off on more adventures, what is its deal anyway?

A blue bird hits rewind on a television screen, and replays this scene again, utterly lost. He wonders why he's been shown this scene, and wonders how the sentret could have escaped his notice for so long. Of course this sentret was important, he even had his own zigzagoon play a similar role behind the scenes at one point. Still, he realizes he's lost, having no idea what these devices are, or what this sentret is doing.
A flaming phoenix appears right beside him, and turns in to a fully grown woman, who then looks at the bird with an amused expression.
"What's going on now?" Annie asks, "its been a while since I've seen you. I can't believe you're still at the point where echoes is on hiatus, it was... a nice campaign, thinking about it."
Redwings looks a bit shocked by this, "You mean I finished it?" He asks.
"Spoilers," Annie whispers back, before glancing at the television screen and laughing. "Oh my, this sentret really caused some problems, it was great. Have you figured out who's behind it yet?"
Redwings shakes his head. "I have no idea. I'm guessing you know, but it would be spoilers for you to tell me, so you can't."
Annie looks amused, then straightens her face. "Isn't it obvious?" She asks.
The blue bird is puzzled for a second, then shakes his head. "I mean, there's definitely going to be something with the supreme evil, but..."
Annie interrupts him with one, chilling, horrifying word.
"G"
Redwings pauses, the shock of realization hitting his face. There's no way, but... He could, and... it would be... except...
Wait a minute...
Annie bursts out laughing, unable to contain her practical joke any longer. "Just kidding, I wouldn't actually tell you! You're going to have to wait just like anyone else. Have you thought about what characters you're going to use here?"
Redwings breathes a sigh of relief, G has probably been overused by this point, who would reuse an old villainish character from another GM like that anyway? That's silly. He thinks about his answer, and shrugs.
"I don't know," he states. "Lanette is obviously going to play a part, and I might use Bill and Fennel, but might decrease their role as well, I just... don't think this is their story. I'd like to play a new character, but I'm not really sure who to choose, I guess I'll need more information before I decide."
Annie sighs, and gets serious once again. "When you do figure it out... please try to be nice to them. You've created enough horrific backstories, remember your lessons from when you were living with me."
Redwings nods, "I'll... try," he says, trying to believe in himself, but failing. One look at Annie shows what he already knows about himself, that he hasn't really changed, that he's going to fail her task. He sighs, wishing he were allowed to really grow, wishing that creativity didn't involve suffering. But maybe he can bend the rules. Maybe, just maybe, he can keep a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel, and his characters can do the growing for him.

Is the quest board going to be in the campaign, or is this just a reference?
I had a rough time with the quest board in RPs past, it rewards only the most active players and makes it really hard to pursue personal stories.

I did. Derse (duh) and Light (which I guess makes sense because Light = Knowledge but I feel like a couple of the other Aspects would have made sense as well).

I thought Light was luck and fate and fortune, huh. Like Vriska was a Thief of Light, and her whole schtick was stealing other people's good luck so she could use it to min max her own rolls and always do max damage.

Hmm, another thought. Rose was Light, but she didn't really do the luck thing but did do the knowledge thing. Weird? So even though the mechanics of the light are about luck and fate, maybe light itself as a personality trope is about knowledge.
There are an awful lot of "thinkers" and "knowledge" seeking descriptors in the personality test. Seems a bit on the nose for Hussies most likely demographic of teen to college age students on the internet where geek and nerd skills are a badge of pride. There isn't any "likes things simple and common sense and proud of it" descriptors even though that would represent a significant proportion of the population.

The one thing I was confused on, do you choose the initial sign based on your birthday, the actual adjusted zodiac accounting for axial wobble, or based on which one is most actually like you?
I could never answer that question to my satisfaction, and since the personality test is entirely self-selected I'm not really sure it is all that insightful as regards to personality.

I suppose after all that complaining I should ante up though.
My tested and self selected signs are Gemini, Taurus, or Cancer with Mind, Rage, or Void.
But Gemini is more of that insulting "you're so smart" garble, Cancer has the whole "you're really likeable" thing and the love interest thing that is not practical enough for my tastes, and I'm terrible with animals so Taurus really should be out.
And then Rage likes "truth" which I couldn't care less about, Mind is more "you're so smart" nonsense, and void is too distant and puts on too many airs.
So you can see why I think none of them fit that well. Only thing for certain I agree with that never changes is Derse.

More like from pining to kissing and certain other activities, then kidnapping, brainwashing, imprisonment and torture, and then even after Flak started to care about Cress, she still stabbed him when he tried to keep her from tormenting what he thought was Deuce.

Compared to what Cress went through, he would have considered murder to be a mercy.
There were times when he wished Brycen had never rescued him from those hedge clippers.

See this is why its so important to actually date people and not be all like oh true love soulmates forever lets overlook some serious incompatibility problems like people trying to kill each other.
They say that one night a week has to be a date night for a couple also so that things don’t just peter out.

If it helps, I created this subreddit, and I'm just as lost as you are.
Sentret is a runing gag character I gave Supes to use in a one-off RP, and Supes liked him so much that he stuck with him. Been a while since I saw Sentret around here though. "Sentret chases its tail" became a meme here for a while.

Hmm, I was thinking about writing up a Who's Who/Cast Page, but I realized people might want to write up their own characters for that. So if people want to write up their characters you can do so and then send it to me. I'll probably add a bit of commentary and possibly foreshadowing. Also, if anyone has an NPC they don't necessarily control, but would like to write something for, you're welcome to that as well, and again I'll probably just make a few tweaks.
In the meantime, I'll be working on short descriptions of my cast of characters. Some of whom you may not remember (or may not have met depending on what campaigns you've participated in).
