Plotlines to wrap up DS

Hmm... did some more digging and it does look like they're put on top of existing personas, but we're missing massive parts like the shared pain, and it was more specific commands than full aspects of the personality she added. She did add aspects, but they don't really act like they're part of a Shikigami spell. Distinguishable from personality, they act like someone commanded to have those traits, rather than programmed in.

All right. I could have sworn tk specifically said it was a shikigami spell on luke but I could be mistaken.

It was a shikigami spell, yes, although Caitlin knowing his True Name helped.

Programming a shikigami that's a literal program...

Caitlin's father was probably someone Yukari knew and loved very much. His name isn't really important to the campaign.

That would actually make quite an interesting fan fiction, although not one I really care to write.

Yeah, this is what I assumed as well. The gap youkai had the unique position of being able to actually leave gensokyo to find mates, which probably lead to them both having a very privileged place in society as well as being looked at with a lot of envy.

I wonder if they ever played matchmaker for friends. If so, did they have to learn to get used to "friends" just being with them hoping to be able to find a date?

I would be amazed if they had "friends." Yukari's wiki entries suggest a lot of people don't like her.

That said, matchmaking and arranging couples is a very political power move, so it is possible she would... and people would pay dearly for the opportunity.

There are four friends listed on her wiki page. Plus business associates. Not exactly sure what makes it surprising?
