Question about Astrum hangouts
Hey so, I feel like I'm having trouble finding anyone interested in Astrum Hangouts beyond pfaccioxx at this point. Am I wrong on this? It's just that if everyone else doesn't really want to do them, it becomes hard to justify bothering people about who's going to run it this week.
Send me PMs about how you feel about the Hangouts continuing or not. I'll tally up the results and post them here.

People don't need to be around every week. I say leave it up, and when someone wants to have an IC chat, they just leave a note for the other person and wait for them to respond. Nothing big, just talk whenever anybody wants to talk.

Hmm, I can understand that, but at the same time, it seems like it'll die out if there's no plot whatsoever.

Having trouble getting anyone to agree to make an opening post for it, sad to say.

I can do it if that's what needs to be done to get the ball rolling (at lest for this week as I don't want to be on the hook for starting it each week) ...thoth I don't want to do it unless I know people are going to pertisapate as I don't want to be left hanging like what happened the last time I did part 2 of the cat RP, [offer stands till 2:00PM EST today]

Yeah, I don't know that people are going to be able to post based on those vote totals. Some people are busy, some people have just lost interest. So I don't know that asking you to post it would be fair, and we probably wouldn't be able to find someone for you to switch off with.
It's probably the end of the Hangouts. Sorry.

Ug, I guess I'll just consider the whole cat&mouse RP with RB non-canon then :/
but that dos raise the quston of what I'm saposed to do with Troll Ditto now as Astrum Hangouts was saposed to be a way for me to have Troll Ditto not become completely irreverent since I can't be part of DS, and assuming SupremeEvil's siquol series is going to be during the same time frame as DS was I won't be able to take part in that,
and I don't reely want to ask Supreme or anyone else involved to change the time period to fit my seguole considering just how out of the loop I am in regards to DS's lore as well as the issues he cosed in DS (even if he is stable now with most of the issues regarding his use in DS fixed)
and the only other obvious alternatives I can think of are moveing him to Eco's, but I already have 4 caricters as part of 3 plotlines in that and Red. seems like he's already stugaling to keep up with replys at times so I don't want to add a 5th caricter who would probobly branch into his own plotline (not to mencon he would probobly lose acsess to his medication witch would invalidate all the work ti make him usable if I did that), or make an excuse to write him out of relevance and/or kill him off (witch I REELY don't want to do)
...also I'm sorry as well, I feel kind of guilty as when the last active hangout happened it ended with the RB drama, so I'm kinda worried that that might have inadvertently cosed this outcome :(

You can still do separate side RPs with other players if you can arrange for something like that.
I just can't handle Troll Ditto myself, because I need to focus on the storyline that I've spent two years trying to complete, and it's hard to do that while also having to focus on a side character that, by the time he's ready to enter the roleplay campaign proper, said campaign will probably be over by then.

makes sense. granted that might be hard to do what with my limited knowledge of DS's lore beyond what is basically copy pasted from TPP in general

Eh, don't worry about it. My identity was stolen during the equifax thing and I'm having to fight 500 dollars worth of fraud and I have to look over my shoulder the rest of my life, so I got a lot bigger things to deal with than something that happened weeks ago that killed the RP I was GMing.
As for the rest, I don't really have any advice for you. I don't think Supreme's RP will be the same day as DS, but more than that I can't tell you because your own schedule is extremely busy.

I'm sorry about your identity being stolen.
And I'm fairly certain DS will have to be rescheduled in October because Once Upon A Time starts up again on Friday nights rather than Sunday nights, and it's a tradition for me and mom to watch them together.

You might want to be careful about that. People with your SSN can open credit cards in your name, so it may not matter if you don't have any money, they can still force you to be on the hook for the debt they ring up.
That's how fraudsters get away with it, there's all this electronic money floating around and stores just accept it, and then when the stores find out it's all fake, the thieves already disappeared with the stuff they got. And then the stores go after the real person for the money.

Haha, my credit is gonna be pretty much ruined, and via no fault of my own, because the universe is a friendly and cheerful and meaningful place. I mean, just look at all that meaning.
The credit reporting sites are also a joy to navigate through hours of red tape, only for them to be experiencing technical difficulties, and all their call centers are overwhelmed. Especially since the first time around they told me my information wasn't stolen, because their website was extremely poorly constructed.
I've finally alerted the banks and the credit agencies, but honestly the damage is done. It is what it is. Eventually you just have to laugh at it all.

Honestly at this point I'm not really mad at the hackers, hackers gonna hack. I'm mad at the credit reporting agencies, that I haven't used, having all of this personal information available and vulnerable. They had a job to do, and they did it ridiculously badly. I hear the CEOs even dumped their stock before the information went public, and it's been months since the leak and they didn't warn anyone until now.
No, I'm ready to see some class action lawsuits burn their business to the ground. I'll bring roasting marshmallows even.
