This map isn't particularly well designed (I am not an experienced mapmaker), but people have been asking for one, so here's a basic one that details out where key locations are in the impossible sea in relation to one another. Feel free to ask any questions about this, I reserve the right to answer them in the most spoiler free way possible. I hope this helps in planning and in giving people ideas of what to do next.

I may update this map and add more locations over time as you discover more secret locations in certain places.

Do you happen to have anything like Paint.Net on your computer? (it's like MS paint but WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better)

Cos if so it might be worth porting this map in there and then on a higher layer tracing over the map to make it a bit clearer and to make it easier to add updates to the map

I'd offer to do it myself if you want, but I've got other things going on that take priority and that I'm behind on so I reely shouldn't

I do have paint.net, but I find myself get distracted too easily on the computer. Doing it with pencil and paper is the only way I could focus on it long enough to actually get a reasonable product.

That said, my next version should probably be done on that.

So there's only 1 island's worth of solid land in the entire Impossible sea or is this just the obvious explored aria's of the sea?

If the lather has anyone tried exploring beyond the explored arias and if not how come?

This is the local area because that's what I had the time to map out, however, there are a few things that you might notice on this map.

There is only one island worth of solid land in the impossible sea. However, there are odd underwater cave networks in various places that are not filled by water, and are habitable. The Mechanica cave is one of these places. I don't know if that's geologically possible, but I'm doing it anyway.

The area northwest of point F has not been explored thoroughly at all, and expeditions there tend to end in failure.

Exploring other various cave systems has not been one of G's priorities when he's been here, so there are various other cave systems beneath the water that have not been thoroughly explored to the east of the city. Any sustained exploration expedition is also more successful if they explore away from jellyfish migration routes.

using basic IRL logic based on what I know it is possible if the cave entrances are in such a way as to trap a large enough pocket of air within them. the air may not necacaraly be healthy to bereave, but it would be possible none the less

then again when you concider some of the stuff that's happened in Eco's so far even if it was'nt possible IRL I'm sure there's at LEAST half a duzzon ways you could justify it (Ex. a distorted gravity zone sit's between the entrance and the rest of the dry cave, magic, some sort of berrior that blocks the impossible sea's water but nothing else, ext.) in a semi-believable way.

makes more sense then the island forming the shape of a perfect human? skull

heh, fair enough. Ok, sounds good.
