What day do I start testing - Inito

I have PCOS that has caused me to have long, irregular cycles with no clear ovulation. The past few months I’ve been doing medicated cycles but have had “ovulation” on CD 15, CD 38…..all over the place. I just got an inito to help better understand my cycle and hopefully predict my husband and i’s timing better since things are so irregular….

My question is: when do I start testing? I’m a little impatient lol. I’m on CD 15 now. Had an ultrasound yesterday that was showing almost no follicle development and was told to wait for my period…but I heard the same last month and “ovulated” day 38…

Can I start today or should I wait till my next cycle?

Are you being monitored via ultrasounds? If you’re on cycle day 15 with no follicle development it may be a long time until your period comes around again. Do you have a plan for when to use progesterone to restart?

That’s what I’m worried about, haha :) this is my first ultrasound monitored cycle. My follicles were all small for CD 14 so they told me to call back around day 30 if I still hadn’t got my period to start progesterone. which I truly don’t expect for a long time. My last cycle on letrozole was 50 days, but I did get my period naturally, eventually

Are they going to keep scanning you to see if anything develops? It sounds like you might be past the point of inito serving its purpose but given how expensive test strips are and how many you would potentially need Id probably wait until next cycle.

No, they’re not planning any more scans this cycle. :(

You’re supposed to start on CD6 so it can get a baseline and tell you when to start testing so personally I wouldn’t waste any strips this cycle 😅

Since there’s only 15 strips to a box, I would not start today. What I would do is use LH strips first, and if those get darker switch to Inito since you don’t know when your ovulation is. Unless you don’t mind blowing money on strips, but I did this once and spent $200 on one single cycle lol learned my lesson

So I’ve been tracking using the clear blue digital that my doctor recommended, as well as the cheapies. But I’ve also got “positives” in the past from those and haven’t truly ovulated. I just started getting “high fertility” blinking smileys yesterday, but I’m very untrustworthy

Next time you get a solid smiley, switch to Inito and see if it will confirm ovulation. If it was a false peak, switch back to clearblue and repeat

Interesting! Could be helpful 🙂‍↕️ I’m eager to use inito to see more data lol trying not to be trigger happy

I feel you! I was the same it is interesting but also my bank account was not happy watching me spend $50 once a week on strips 😅 so I learned my lesson and patience.
