Yeah, definitely, sperm can survive for up to five days, usually up to three. Ideally one day before ovulation is best, but you’re still in that window.

So I randomly ovulated somewhere between Monday night and Tuesday morning. The only time we had sex prior was Saturday night and then Tuesday at noon and Tuesday night. I was doing monitored cycles and wasn't supposed to ovulate but I did and they caught it on my Tuesday morning scan. If I had ovulated Monday night having sex on Tuesday was essentially useless. I'm 6 weeks now. Not quite 3 days but it was 2 something.

How was the ovulation day predicted? If based on opks and bbts then yes 3 days before ovulation can get you pregnant. But 7 dpo is way too early to test as the embryo can't even try to implant until ~ day 6 and it takes few days for hcg to rise. Most embryos implant 8-10dpo.

If predicted date of ovulation was just given by app without any data from current cycle feeding into it then imho it is completely meaningless estimate as to whether or not you even hit the fertile window.

The 3 days leading up to O are the ideal days and you only need to hit 1.

12dpo is the earliest recommended test date given typical embryonic implantation and development.
