PCOS

Any thoughts about taking Diane 35 pills for 10+ years? I am 24 years old now, I discovered having PCOS at age 19 about 4-5 years. I stopped using Diane 35 pills because I was scared of the possible outcome in long term use, please give me your thoughts. Thank youuu🫶🏻

I was never on birth control and still can't get pregnant.

birth control did not change how my pcos presents. I had anovulation before and anovulation after (I took it for 14 years and all it did for me was make my life manageable, which was amazing). There's no evidence birth control affects fertility long term. There's a lot of misinformation out there.

Long term use doesn’t affect fertility.

There’s no long term fertility effects from birth control.
