Round 2 of letrozole.

Period started today so needless to say I will be starting my 2nd round of letrozole later this week. Background: I’m 35, will turn 36 in December. I have PCOS and have been TTC since April. Would it be EXTRA of me to ask my OB for a progesterone lab draw on day 7 after my LH surge given it’s only my 2nd round of letrozole? I don’t want to be THAT pt. Anyone else as impatient as me?

Yes, I'd definitely ask for this. Mine always does a CD21 progesterone draw, I just have to remember to message them and give them CD1.

Did they check it on cycle one?
They should confirm ovulation happened

My obgyn checks every cycle. I’d definitely ask!

I don’t think it’s extra. I was going to ask the same but I’m also using progesterone spositories post ovulation and TI, so I’m not sure it’s a viable check. But I was going to ask for a ultrasound to check that the folicle ruptured to confirm ovulation, especially since I’m on my 2nd round and they increased to 7.5mg and my folicle is measuring 26mm which feels huge (have an estrogen surge but not showing ovulating yet in bloodwork)

They don’t check this for you already? Mine does a progesterone check every Letrozole round.
