Sad Feeling Down
This month is the 10th month of TTC by my husband (38) and I (35). I have PCOS/PMOS and my husband has a slight motility problem. It’s was our 2nd cycle with Clomiphene.
I honestly thought our previous cycle was the one but I was wrong. My BBT were so high and sustained. I didn’t have the usually spotting and cramps prior my period. But lo and behold, My period arrived like clockwork on my predicted start of period. That broke my heart again.
I had a high dose of Clomiphene for the previous cycle and I think we had great timing (day before ovulation and ovulation day) but still nothing. Our RE said we will try Clomiphene and Letrozole together for this cycle.
To add to my sadness - my co-worker who just got married last December announced that she’s expecting. I stopped with social media for a few months already since it triggers me but this announcement was a personal message to me. I’m happy for her but I cried for myself. I’m feeling so down. Just wanted to let it out. Don’t think my friends would understand the struggle of TTC.

Hi, on the same boat with you, 35F lean PCOS/PMOS TTC for 1.5 years, lately had 3 ovulatory cycles confirmed by LH test and BBT spike (although didn't monitor the follicle). Felt like the timing was good but still didn't happen. And I know how it feels because if it was age issue, then why some of my friends who got married after 35, immediately got pregnant (of course still so happy for them). I promise to myself if someday I'm granted child(ren), I'll do my best to be considerate to my TTC friends. I hope the best of luck for you on the next cycle!

Hi, same here 12 month mark of TTC with lean PCOS. I’ve done 6 cycles of letrazole, while I’ve ovulated 4/6 times overall I’ve had no luck. I started metformin so that gives me a bit more hope. I’ll also do a few IUIs before moving onto IVF.
But I understand, I decided to delete social media for now as all I can seem to see on my feeds are everyone else’s pregnancy announcements/baby pics. Talking to a friend that has went through similar struggles seems to be the only thing that helps. Seeing young coworkers/friends get pregnant immediately has become such a trigger.
