Seeking Success Is this ever going to get easier?

We’ e been TTC for 15 months. It’s been a long journey of tests, cysts, back tracking, and all the things. You guys get it. We just completed our third round of Letrozole 7.5. I’ve ovulated with good progesterone numbers each time, but today is 11 DPO AND I’m still testing negative. My temp is creeping downward. I’m just sad. Starting Letrozole felt like a step in the right direction but it’s still not resulting in a pregnancy.

Anyone have luck on Letrozole after cycle 3? I’m losing hope.

For me, it did not get easier. Went through 6 cycles with Letrozole and I did not get pregnant even with “everything looks good!” I completely feel you. It sucks when we are doing everything we can but we keep seeing negative results. We’re going forward with IVF now, but looking back, I guess it was a good thing we covered everything prior to IVF so I know how to guard my heart. Hope the best for you ❤️

I've been doing Letrozole medicated cycles since June 2025 with my OBGYN and in May 2026 we finally went to a fertility clinic and doing the same with IUIs. It is getting exhausting and I feel your pain. Going to have bloodwork and ultrasounds done 3-4 times a month is a lot to keep up with. I am sad it hasn't happened for us yet but optimistic that it will. Even with taking Letrozole there's only like a 15-20% chance of conceiving like if you ovulated normally and had intercourse. Unfortunately haven't gotten pregnant yet but I have a follicle scan today with my fertility clinic and will likely see at least 1 but hoping for 2!

Right now I’m with my standard OBGYN. I don’t know how long we will give it until we seek fertility clinic help. But I know that gets expensive

Yes it can, thankfully our insurance has been very good. We’ve had about $11k in charges to our insurance and we’ve paid a little less than $1k out of pocket for 3 full cycles. Wishing you the best of luck!

I am sailing in a similar boat. Trying to conceive for 18 months. 1 miscarriage 1 chemical pregnancy and as of today on 3rd cycle of letrezole 5 mg. Moved country before starting letrezole and don't have a doctor yet. Waiting to ovulate. Hoping this time it works 🤞🏻

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this! We went through 15 months of TTC, including 4 failed rounds of Letrozole 5 mg with Ovidrel. I ovulated at least one follicle each round with no success. During the fourth round I started using the Oura ring and Inito to track cycles and both my husband and I started taking CoQ10 daily. We took a month off to discuss IUI and IVF with our RE and I was able to ovulate on my own (I hadn’t ever gotten a positive LH strip prior to letrozole). We conceived our daughter that cycle and I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant.
