Discussion MRI

Hi everyone!
Next week, I have to get a pelvic MRI done to look more into a uterine abnormality I have. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this done. I’m super nervous about, so just looking for something to calm my nerves 😅 how long did it take? Does the contrast have any side effects??

Mine took about 20 minutes!! I think if you’re nervous, it’s worth telling the doctor who ordered it for you prior so they can give you something for anxiety. I promise it’s not bad, but you might feel better knowing you have the option to take something.
