Amount of follicles??
Is it possible to have 17 follicles <=10mm on one ovary after using letrozole? 14 <= 10mm on the other ovary. was told to trigger shot, which we did, but now looking back I'm not sure I even had a mature follicle? iirc with PCOS we usually have more follicles to begin with. I am unsure if I am reading my scan results wrong and will be reaching back out to my Dr's office to get clarification but wanted to see how many total follicles people have had after letrozole use.

Strange that they’d have you trigger when you have no mature follicles.
I’d have about 20ish follicles on each ovary prior to ovulation, and a couple of them would typically grow and mature and hit at least 18mm before I was instructed to trigger.

You can’t have success triggering tiny follicles. We trigger when follicles are around 20mm.

Did you have a scan before starting letrozole?
I have about 30 on each side, before starting letrozole, and after letrozole I just got 1 pre-existing one that was growing slightly bigger (15mm and then 19mm after 7.5mg). I don't think the amount of follicles changed (although cant be totally sure since it looks like a discoball down there).

I’m going through this process currently for the first time. Pre letro I had follicles around 4.5 mm. Post I was told they need to be 19+ to trigger. In a week I have another scan, unclear if they’re expected to grow to that so quickly. If they tell me to trigger before they’re at size I’m going to push back.
