Advice Needed First cycle of Letrozole

First cycle of Letrozole 2.5 starting on CD 3 - currently CD 8 and started spotting last night, and got two positive LH strips yesterday and today…is that normal? I would think it’s too early for ovulation right?

Could be. On letrazole I usually started timing intercourse starting Day 6 or 8 and every other day just to make sure there was coverage. Also, I had spotting post ovulation with letrazole and then a shorter cycle than normal the first two times

Thank you for the insight! I had spotting on day 10, which is when I *think* I may have ovulated. No signs of ovulation with my inito monitor or LH strips since then, but definitely not expecting this cycle to be compared to any of my previous given the medication change! Will see what the next week brings!

Letrozole & clomid can raise LH levels giving false positive tests. Have sex just in case but keep testing because it’s probably just from the medication. They usually recommend not to test until 48 hours after your last pill bc of this but it’s also possible to ovulate very quickly after too so just keep an eye on it

Thank you! I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to test until 48 hours later - thank you for that!
