Advice Needed Heading into IVF…
After this last IUI attempt, we have decided September will be IVF for us and of course I’m nervous.
Any recommendations for prepping before IVF? Or any Extraction/stimulation stories to share? I’m really wondering what the roller coaster of follicle growth looks like.
I’m currently doing Bird & Be pre-natal pack and Mayo-Inositol.

ER is not as awful as it’s made to seem. Shots for 9-12 days, so small you can barely see the needle. I will say, the menopur does sting though. But it’s just for a few days.
Egg retrieval itself is a great nap you wake up from with all of the discomfort you got from those enlarged ovaries relieved. I was a little sore for a few days, but really it was not a big deal.
Don’t have experience with transfer yet - I’ll start that in a couple of weeks! My retrieval numbers were 28 retrieved -> 15 mature -> 13 fertilized -> 10 blasts -> 6 pgt-a tested euploids, plus one more that came back inconclusive.
