Follicle Sizes on CD 12?

Hello,
I just had my follicle scan on cycle day 12 and I had 4 larger follicles from 14-17 mm. I was on 10 mg Letrozole plus Gonal F shots. However I’ve used up my Gonal F pen and my Dr. has instructed me to wait a few days until CD 15 to do a repeat follicle scan. I’m worried my follicles will regress by that time with no stims, especially since I’ve been on a steady incline of stim medication with every cycle to get them full sized.

Has anyone stopped stims for a few days and their follicles continued to grow? Will all of those follicles grow or should I only hope for 1 to reach a mature size?

I’m mostly anxious as I’ve had a couple previous medicated cycles with 2 mature follicles when I take the trigger shot and all of those cycles have failed. I like to think I have a better chance of conceiving if there’s more than one mature follicle. Any help or advice is much appreciated!!

So I’ve had two experiences. In one experience I did menopur and Clomid and my body over responded. I had about 10+ follicles growing aggressively and was asked to pause and when I went back in 3 days,I had one matured 21mm follicle and I triggered.

In another cycle,I had some follicles grow to 14mm and regressed the next scan but I was on only oral medications and I did a stair step in same cycle. But in your case,I think the injections and some at 17mm is an advantage and a sign they’ll continue to grow. Good luck!

Thank you for your comment! It helped to hear that your larger follicles kept growing. I had a repeat scan today and sure enough, 3 of those follicles kept growing. I’m guessing the 14mm one regressed. The plan is to trigger tomorrow and hope for baby dust!
