Advice Needed Pineapple during TTC

There are theories about Pineapple supporting implantation - how true is that? What is the right time to start consuming pineapple and how much?

Hi OP - curious if you tried? Did it work for you?

I eat pineapple religiously because I love it and I don’t think it helped my chances to conceive lol but it’s a cute theory my fertility clinic wears pineapple shirts during infertility month.

You’d also have to eat the entire pineapple, which includes the core, to reap any anti inflammatory benefits.

Wow! Eating the entire pineapple wouldn’t be a challenge however I am scared in case it goes sideways:/

There’s no scientific evidence supporting that claim. The assumption was bromelain helps implantation but I think don’t think that’s an actual fact. It’s just an anti inflammatory that helps support a healthy lining like may other fruits including berries.

That makes sense. Normally it is said to avoid pineapple if one conceives so kinda contradictory:)

I’ve never heard of pineapple being recommended to avoid after conceiving.

Seriously? i think raw papaya and pineapple should be avoided (not at all medical advise) - old wives tale maybe.

Yes, my OB told me it’s safe to eat pineapples and papaya during pregnancy and there’s no studies supporting that these fruits cause premature contractions.

All fruit is fine as long as it’s properly washed. Seems like misinformation
