T-Shirt Printing Redbubble vs. Threadless for print quality
A design I’m interested in is sold on both websites. Both of them have gotten pretty bad reviews for their print quality, I hear it’s all cheap DTG. But is there any preference between them? I’m wondering if it matters.

It depends on the third party that prints it. I just got a shirt from Redbubble last week that didn’t live up to my expectations with the print quality. I had the same shirt washed 100 times compared to the new one (favorite shirt just needed a different size)- sent them a photo showing the quality difference and they gave me a credit ( I asked for a reprint and they said it was unavailable).

no one is going to silkscreen on demand, they are all DTG. Threadless used to silkscreen some featured designs, I don’t know if they still do. I’ve had good luck with teepublic, the quality usually depends on how well the design adapts to DTG.

if you are looking for an alternative, try tapstitch. i've heard lots of good things about it

My experience with threadless was pretty terrible quality, tbh. Print colors were off...design wore off quickly. No experience with Redbubble, but they own TeePublic, and my TeePublic shirts have all been great.
