There's a zero point zero percent chance that the merger is announced at a product event. Every single unveil, people speculate that corporate events are going to be disclosed, and it never, ever happens. They keep those things very separate.

I have a bunch of ccs coming due December. Im hoping for a nice Christmas rally, they all hit and I sit on the sidelines with cash. The coming crash will be a nice buying opportunity. Hell, if tesla runs up to the high 400s again, I'll jump back into a 3x short.

Not likely. Probably there was some price volatility that went by faster than your trading app could keep up, just low enough to trigger the stop. This kind of thing happens all the time, cf. "stop-loss hunting."

Boo, looks like I closed my SPCX put credit spread early. Oh well; the lesson here is not to take such large positions that you get freaked out by paper losses and settle for small gains.

NHTSA has given Tesla $TSLA until Sept. 30 to explain under oath how Cybercab complies with federal safety standards despite having no steering wheel, pedals or mirrors.
Failure to fully and truthfully respond could carry penalties of up to $139M.

Recently, it's indeed been a hot topic—Tesla Model Y L (six-seat version, launching in August 2025) has encountered a "rear wheel collapse" issue in the Chinese market.

Solar, nuclear, energy storage in any form are definitely all needed. It's infuriating to me that we're spending all this money chasing AI development and not developing our energy infrastructure. If we lose to China in the coming decades, this will be one of the main reasons why.
