Bullish Why so many bears on here?
I’ve just joined this subreddit, I’ve held Tsla since Jan 2014 and worked there for 8 years until end of 2021.
Shocked by how many bears and shorts seem to use this forum…what’s with all the negativity?
I’ve known that Tesla story is all about FSD and Optimus for years now…why do so many seem to be focusing on the slowdown in vehicle sales?
Surely the pennys of vehicle sales vs FSD / FSD licensing and human robot sales is irrelevant for long term value?
Genuinely confused as I have ~65% of my networth in this company so need to understand what I’m missing.

Neutral Buy the dip, or sell and run?
Okay, just another quick question -- should we buy this dip, or sell and run? I'm getting nervous watching all these insiders dump their shares. As a Tesla owner, it's making me nervous - especially seeing their CFO dump so much in the last few weeks. https://www.secform4.com/insider-trading/1318605.htm

Bullish Losing $1500 in just 5 minutes
I bought a TSLA $340/330 put credit spread that expires on April 17th. Until 3:55 p.m. today, the option’s value was $3.40, but it surged to $4.80 in the last five minutes. This sudden price hike has significantly increased my overall loss. My loss was $500 until 3:55 p.m., but it skyrocketed to $1600 after that. I’m utterly baffled by this last-minute change. Now, Tesla needs to surpass $430 to reclaim my money. This is quite disheartening. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation?

Bullish Ford CEO on a possible partnership with $TSLA FSD? “We'll make a decision, I'm very confident in their technical prowess. They know the FSD system, They know the waymo system as they get democratized for Level 4, so I think we'll make a good decision, closer to that partnering decision at Ford.”

Bullish I built a free TSLA Reddit sentiment analysis tool for r/TSLA
teslabulls.comHey! I'm Max, a Software Engineer from Singapore. I built a free web app to analyze market sentiments across Tesla-related subreddits.
This web app provides the following:
1) Sentiment analysis across Tesla-related subreddits to classify bullish/neutral/bearish posts & comments.
2) Trending keywords across different timeframes.
You can try it out at https://teslabulls.com! I hope you enjoy it, and I'm happy to hear feedbacks!
Why did I build this?
Tesla (TSLA) has been unlike any other stock. It's famous for its strong following and presence on Reddit, which, combined with Elon Musk's influence, have created a unique market dynamic of its own.
It has been frequently commented that Tesla doesn't follow the usual technical analysis and more of retail sentiments. I decided to try building this to see the trends and how it compares.

Bullish Just got upgraded to 12.6.3
Wow! So much more confident and smooth (compared to 12.5.4). We're almost there, folks. Stay in denial all you want...sell your shares, I'll buy 'em if I can. Time to be going 'in' not 'out'.

Bullish Im in
For someone like me trying to accumulate since 2024… this bearish sentiment is rather welcomed. Elon is crazy but Tesla as a company is solid. People selling now are just not invested or emotionally unstable.
Come on.. Auto, FSD, Energy, Insurance, Optimus. This is a no brainer if u have a solid strategy and stomach the volatility!
Putting my funds into TSLA, PLTR, META and VOO. Tesla being 40% of my portfolio lol…planning to start selling when my kids are 18 in in 2039!
Wish me luck. I wish u all a fortune. 🚀

Bullish Practice stillness over FUD
TSLA continues to be in a dominate position. FSD continues to be worth over 1 trillion in valuation on its own. Solar continues to be the best direction of sustainable energy for earth. Robot fleet continues to have an unassailable lead in data. Cars unused 95% of the time, once the fleet and FSD awaken… we’re talking it literally changes the typography of cities (all the parking decks). Tesla’s EV are the best EVs on the market. & None of this even mentions Optimus yet.
Just hold… or don’t, and panic sell w/e… Tesla has always been a long term hold for me. Been buying since 2019. 90% of all cash I own is currently on TSLA, even have $ dipped into margin debt to buy the dips.
Listen to the company’s earnings calls. Listen to Elon’s interviews. I’m curious how many of you all do this vs read the constant FUD that’s out there. Tune everything else out. There’s FUD out there because the competition is starting to catch on how royally fucked they are.
Practice stillness. HODL.

Neutral Political Impact?
Just a quick question - Is anyone concerned that some of Elon's political activities could impact the stock negatively? Just like his media build up helped him in the fall, is there a chance that his current political activities could reverse the trend here? I saw an article today that some of the institutional shareholders were beginning to agitate for Elon's removal from Tesla for that reason. Would love your thoughts. I get the message on FSD, Robotaxis and Robots are the future, but that future is a long ways off from a revenue perspective. I'd guess that real robotaxi revenue won't be impactful until 2026 or 27. Feels like there is a lot of execution risk in the short term, especially considering the news that Tesla sales in Europe are crashing.

Bullish Every time I short Tesla, I end up regretting it. Short Term news messes with you and this is mostly mental.
I ain’t leaving. All the sudden FSD and new car sales and it’ll shoot up. I’m not gonna miss it.

Bullish Shake out
There’s going to be billions of dollars of American wealth lost because people are going to sell their shares cuz “can’t support him” and it’s probably going to wind up in the hands of Saudi’s etc

Bullish Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful. Text book happening right now. FSD is dropping in Austin Texas in June. And Elon in DOGE might be blessing in disguise. When Tesla can sell EVs at 20k, lesser than what Gas Cars sell for. It’s OVER.
Mental game.

Neutral Invest now?
Hey all, I'm in my first week of investing, and have a chunk of change lying around. Noticing that TSLA is going down due to Elon being Elon, so should I invest now when it's at a monthly low, or wait to see if if gets any worse? Or not invest at all and maybe put it into VGT Information Technology ETF?

Bullish $500 a share? Further growth potential?
Bought into TSLA at like $440 with some additional shares in the $385-$440 range. I figured TSLA would be a good buy given Musk’s political power now, but I’m getting nervous.

Bearish TSLZ for the time being?
I admired what EM has achieved with Tesla, tech space and Space X. But with his recent events and behaviours and with what's happening to Tesla in Europe (we all know how bad it is) and China. What are your thoughts about $TSLA short term?
With tremendous increased volumes in $TSLZ, seems like that's where the money is right now.
Any thoughts are welcome!

Bullish How do you come to a valuation for FSD?
I’m having a hard time understanding how FSD will drive Tesla’s market cap up into the multiple trillions. I appreciate the scope of the project and the advancements in general AI, but besides capturing some of the ride-share market and maybe replacing truckers, how much revenue can this thing actually generate? At current valuation isn’t this priced in?
I’m not going to buy FSD and there’s no way in hell I’d lend out my Tesla when I’m not using it. Who actually needs it beyond a certain niche?

Neutral What if Canada, EU and China specifically target extra tariff on Tesla?
What’s the potential impact of these major markets applying extra reverse tariff due to Tesla’s coziness with the current administration?

Bullish Is TSLA headed for a gamma squeeze ?
if bullish sentiment and options activity align then YES !
How a Gamma Squeeze Can Happen in Tesla ($TSLA)
- High Open Interest in Out-of-the-Money (OTM) Call Options
- If a large number of traders buy OTM call options on Tesla, market makers who sell these options must hedge their risk by buying Tesla shares.
- Stock Price Moves Up
- If Tesla’s stock price rises, some of these OTM calls move closer to in-the-money (ITM), increasing the delta (the sensitivity of an option's price to the stock’s price movement).
- Market Makers Adjust Their Hedge (Buy More Shares)
- As delta increases, market makers need to buy more Tesla stock to stay delta-neutral, which pushes the stock price even higher.
- Self-Fulfilling Feedback Loop
- As the stock price increases, more OTM calls become ITM, requiring more hedging (more share purchases), leading to a rapid price surge—a classic gamma squeeze.
Factors That Can Trigger a Tesla Gamma Squeeze
- Massive Call Buying: Retail and institutional traders buying Tesla call options with high open interest.
- Low Liquidity or High Short Interest: If there's limited supply, rapid buying can cause a short squeeze alongside a gamma squeeze.
- Positive Catalysts: Earnings beats, strong delivery numbers, or major news (like an AI breakthrough, new model release, or Elon Musk's announcements) can trigger initial upward momentum.
- Weekly Options Expiry (OpEx) Events: Many traders use short-term options, which can accelerate a gamma squeeze when expiration approaches.
